The look of longing for acceptance was clear as a summer morning in Loki's ocean blue eyes. "But why no one has ever wanted to get to know me, and you won't have time to be my friend with wedding preparations and becoming queen." He got up and started pacing. Leaving her alone on the blanket. She pondered for a moment "how private is this flower garden?" She asked, He stopped pacing for the moment.
"Completely private only one way in and one way out, mother says it is her personal sanctuary where she loves to think why?" He asked looking at her puzzled. She got up walked to him wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. He tensed at first.
Then all of a sudden he wrapped his arms around her waist deepening the kiss. She couldn't help but MOAN. She melted into him but unlike Thor he was cold not hot, but she enjoyed it it made her even more excited. God how she craved to feel his hands all over her.
This craving for him was different then any she had. She felt as if there entire being belonged to gether in every way that they could, both physically and spiritually, but just as soon as she really started to enjoy it he pulled back. "Oh pet how I'd love to lay you down and make you mine, I cant."
at this comment his face saddened again and her heart felt like it would tear in two.
She understood what he meant she was already promised to another. She shouldn't be acting like a love sick teenager. She just meet both men but the connection she had with Loki felt as if it was fate.
"We can still be friends, I'd love to have you in my life even due to current circumstances. please tell me you won't leave me?" She said not wanting to move but pulling back and sitting on the blanket picking up the glass of wine he had given her. Loki cupped her face seeing tears in her eyes "I won't leave till you send me away. I will always be here for you."
He kissed her again then sat with her. Picking his glass up and clinked it with hers. They sat ideally talking about the weather and how things were different between here and her home planet. About an hour later Thor joined them "Has my brother treated you well?" He asked "And that's my cue to leave you two, have a goodnight lady Julianna ". Loki said bowing and exiting the garden .
"Yes I learned alot from him I'm sure I have more to learn but he answered all my questions and sat here with me." She smiled at Thor "I have some bad news my love. I have to go spend a couple months on earth working with our allies to stop the war that's brewing." He said holding his hand out to help her up. "That's ok I've never been to earth should be interesting. " She said.
"The bad news my love is I can't take u with me it's to dangerous ..... I'm so sorry I wish it could be different ." Thor said as they reached the dining hall where her father, Odin and Frigga sat lost in discussion. To her surprise Loki came in after them. She didn't say anything. She sat as Thor pulled a chair out for her. He then sat next to her.
Loki sat at the spot across from her with a weird look on his face. She didn't want to be caught staring so she looked at her father " Father if it's true that time works differently here then earth how long is a couple of months here?" she asked her father, looking at her and said sadly " Well for every month on earth a year passes here ."
She was in utter shock. That means if Thor leaves he can be gone from 2 to 3 years. "How are we to be married if you'll be gone for a couple years?" she asked looking at Thor who apparently wasn't happy her father told her this. Frigga answered, "The wedding will happen when Thor returns, I know this comes as a shock my dear and we apologize." She got up and walked out.
Julianna wandered for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually she found herself in the library. She started scanning the books and found one on Jotunheim. She thought it odd that this book would draw her attention but she remembered loki mentioning earlier that this is where he was born before Odin took him.
She sat enthralled with the book and what she was learning. 'I wonder if Loki has ever met his biological father?' Julianna thought. she read for hours eventually drifting into a restless sleep. She drempt that she was wandering in a gorgeous forest and just as she came to the center there was a pond. She decided to go for a swim, standing in the grass and unclothed herself.
After undressing she jumped in. "oh my God this water is amazingly warm it feels wonderful." She swam a few laps then decided she was gonna float. As she was floating the water started to grow cold. She was ok until something touched her. Julianna screamed "Shh pet, don't be frieghtend its me ". She looked up to see Loki in the water next to her.
