Next Day….
The Omnipotent Being opened his eyes slightly, groaning as the bright sun shone in his eyes. He felt the warm water on his skin as he sat up in the jacuzzi, undoing his messy bun. As the teen or Omnipotent Being's long silky black hair fell, he got out of the water, his body soaking wet. It seems that he had fallen asleep in the jacuzzi…. As it was morning, the music had turned from its former downbeat, peaceful lofi to a more upbeat, calming form.
Stretching out his legs, the teen liked the new feeling. Being in the body of a mortal was a fresh change for sure. Though he did possess all the same capabilities as before, he could now feel satisfied by doing certain things. Being hungry, sore, tired, and so on. Of course, his stomach was on a whole different capacity now….
Water dripped from his body, and as he looked around, it seemed that the room had changed a little. The neon signs had disappeared, and now, the plants seemed to have become long thriving bamboo instead. The floor and jacuzzi were the same, and so were the sliding doors.
Snapping his fingers, the teen's previously dripping body became completely dry, along with a thick white bathrobe manifesting itself on his body, along with a pair of thin bamboo sandals. After thinking for a bit previously, the Omnipotent teenager had decided on a name for himself. After a long period of silence, he spoke clearly.
"Let's go with….. Day. After millennials of being in the shadowy depressing night that is Working, I would think that the day has finally come….."
The now named Day shrugged his shoulders a bit, eyes staring out the glass window. Clapping his hands together, a mug of piping hot cocoa appeared in his hands, steam curling up into the sky.
Day took a sip, the creamy sweet goodness sliding down his throat with ease. As he savored the warm chocolate flavor, he stared at the tall skyscrapers with joy.
He could see thousands upon thousands of them in the distance. They were tall and odd-shaped, some in the shape of eggs, while others seemed to curve in the air. They were all metallic, with mostly transparent windows. Giant clumps of vegetation grew from their sides, and vines climbed down their edges. Above, billboards and giant holograms glowed slightly, advertising celebrities, products, and so on. As Day watched, giant spaceships flew by overhead, zooming by both above and below.
Moving his head, he stared down below. All that one mortal would be able to see was a sea of clouds below, and as he didn't bother to do anything about having better vision, that was all he saw. An infinite sea of clouds extending across the whole city. This was a testament to how high up they were.
This was Rexovia, the capital, and base of operation of The Tasaru Federation, located on the planet, Criticia. The Tasaru Federation was a powerful government in the Grand Abyss Alliance, a group of superpowers in this galaxy. Rexovia was a beautiful place, at day, it was a majestic shining city in the daylight, known for its verdant green parks and stunning city views. At night, it was known for its lively nightlife and vivid purple lights. Rexovia was also called the City Of The Purple Night, for the fact that during the night, purple light fixtures all over the city would turn on, supposed to help with insomnia, according to Public Health Officials.
His current living adobe was named Twilight Apartments, an upscale skyscraper/living space extending about four hundred floors into the sky, reaching just shy of the exosphere. It was rated the third most expensive/luxurious apartment in the Tasaru Federation, which controlled seven collective planets.
Standing there, Day felt the morning rays of Criticia's Sun, Helioa, warm his skin. Stretching some more, Day walked away, opening the sliding door, and stepping into his wide living room.
His apartment was pretty big, with a large master bedroom, living room, kitchen, small gym, and of course, the jacuzzi.
Day stepped forwards, sitting down in a wooden chair, he nursed the cup of hot chocolate slowly, thinking. His living room was directly connected to the jacuzzi, so was every other place, besides the bathroom, which was part of the bedroom.
His living room was quite nice, which he had personally designed. The ground was made of dark oak planks, with each tile extremely smooth. The walls were smooth white quartz, with beautiful scenic paintings hung on the ceiling. They showed beautiful flourishing forests, crystal clear lakes, majestic towering mountains, and so on. The light fixtures above were stained glassfish, with light bulbs inside of them, creating a pleasant effect on the room.
A large fluffy beige couch was positioned on the right wall, with cute animal plushies and giant equally fluffy pillows. Next to the sliding doors that lead into the jacuzzi, a giant glass window showed a different view of the city, letting one peer down into one of Rexovia's Sky Parks. Literally, a park located in the Sky. Using some quantum mechanics and whatever they used, developers and workers had created a giant platform attached to three different close skyscrapers, with a whole lake, small forested area, and a playground.
Besides the couch and window, a giant television had been inserted into the side of the wall, opposite of the couch. With a clear, large screen, it possessed over a million channels and such. Due to the many planets and such located all over this galaxy, it also spawned a great number of television channels apparently. It made competition quite fierce…..
Besides that, there was of course the giant arching aquarium that went from one end of the living room to the other. Within the tank, thousands of fish and such swam around vigorously. A thriving ecosystem existed without the need for fish to eat each other.
