Thump!!
Wham!!
Thud!!
The noises that sounded louder and louder were what disturbed Joon's sleep.
Joon tries to open his eyes, though his eyelids feel like they have glue glued together.
Thwack!!
"All of you get out of this house! This house is sold!" There were also angry voices. Like in front of Joon's room. However, Joon doesn't know whose baritone voice it is. There's no way it's papa, daddy or daddy's voice.
Ah, Joon seems to still remember clearly how he beat those bully uncles earlier. Joon doesn't know where the power comes from. But at that time, Joon felt that there was another power in him that was trying to show existence.
Or maybe Joon is too naive to admit that he was the one who committed the violence earlier. He just needed someone to blame for his cruelty earlier.
"Get your feet out of here! Our boss wants this house vacated immediately!" Again there was a scream from the front of Joon's room.
After trying to collect his life that might be left in dreamland, a few minutes later Joon got up. His sudden movement made the world seem to spin. Joon groaned in pain as he clutched his head, tightly.
BAM!!
Joon's room door opened roughly. The sound of the door colliding with the wall was able to make Joon's heart beat faster than usual.
Seen a tall man standing in the doorway and immediately came towards Joon.
Joon squinted so that his previously blurry vision could see clearly.
"Uncle who?" Joon whispered in a hoarse voice, typical of someone who just woke up from a long sleep.
The big tall man--who was wearing a black vest--was not paying attention. Instead, he grabbed Joon's arm roughly and pulled him towards the door. The man slammed Joon's body, which was still weak, out of the room.
Fortunately, Jaya's strong hands held her, before Joon's body fell to the floor.
"We are indeed going! Why are you being so rude to my son, huh?!" Jaya shouted not accept it. He moved Joon into Kenichi's arms.
The man walked arrogantly towards Jaya. He pointed right at Jaya's face.
"I'll give you twelve hours to clean up all this trash of yours! If tomorrow morning I still see you here, you'll know the consequences." The man in the vest was threatening. He bumped into Kenichi's shoulder as he passed through Joon's door.
Moments after the man left, Joon looked sadly at Kenichi who was still holding his body, tightly.
"What the hell is this, Dad?" Joon asked, curious. He wanted to make sure that his guess was wrong. It can't be that Papa Kevin's orders have kicked them out of this house right now? Joon thought.
Kenichi showed a warm smile. He was so happy that his nephew had woken up after sleeping for two whole days.
"You okay, Joon? Ah, Daddy misses you so much, Honey. Why did you sleep so long, um?" Kenichi asked back. He ignores Joon's question which he doesn't even know the answer to.
Joon nodded with a smile. Judging from his daddy's expression as if he was hiding something, surely his guess was right that it was Papa Kevin who sold this house. Ah, Joon didn't think that this phase he really had to face this fast.
Joon once advised himself not to be too complacent with the pseudo-comfort all this time. He believes in this world nothing lasts forever. Including the luxury that he had felt so far, it would eventually be taken away.
Could it be that one day the love of papa, father and daddy will also be taken away? Ah, Joon actually doesn't want to think about all the bad possibilities.
"It's okay, Dad. This house doesn't really belong to us. So maybe it's time we left this house." Joon spoke softly. He smiled to encourage daddy and dad.
Kenichi cried silently. He continued to kiss Joon's forehead which was only as high as his neck. He did not expect his nephew to have grown up. If Joon used to be in a situation like this, Joon would have been crying out loud not wanting to get out of here. This house has many memories of them.
Kenichi was thinking when his nephew returned helpless in his bedroom bed yesterday. Two days ago, Kenichi saw Joon unconscious, it broke his heart. There was nothing he could do during those 2 days. In fact, to have the doctor put in an IV for Joon--as long as Joon sleeps long--he just can't afford it. This chaos seemed to come in succession.
Jaya smiled also seeing the maturity that Joon showed his pride. He gently patted Joon's head which was still wrapped in a bandage.
"Joon just lie down again, okay? Wait for dad and daddy to clean up all our things. After that, dad will definitely wake Joon up again." Jaya spoke softly.
In his heart there are some emotions that Jaya is not able to show. Between anger, disappointment, anxiety, panic and confusion. However, he was confused about who to blame for this mess. He tried his best to suppress all those emotions. He must remain calm in front of his beloved Joon. He didn't want Joon to be worried too.
Joon nodded and limped towards his bed assisted by Kenichi. Joon's body still feels weak, his head is still dizzy, don't forget the pain that torments the stomach because it hasn't conceded anything for 2 days.
Jaya rushed to Joon's closet. He took a large suitcase that was on top of the closet, tidying up all of Joon's clothes, including his son's textbooks.
Jaya often reminded herself to predict bad things like this in advance. However, Kevin's treatment, which always spoiled them, caught them off guard. And never would have thought that the big boss Kevin Hirano would do this to them. He regrets not asking for a salary from the goddamn Boss Kevin, who allegedly Jaya is behind all of this.
Kenichi also left Joon's room. He still had to clean up all the important stuff.
Joon was stunned, seeing his father and daddy busy pacing around tidying up all their stuff.
"Father?" call Joon then.
"Why, Joon?" Jaya answered, without turning to Joon. He is still busy sorting out old textbooks and new textbooks so that their luggage is not too heavy.
"Where's Papa Kevin? Is he all right now?" That's the question that Joon finally chose among dozens of questions that were in his head.
Jaya stopped activities for a moment, he walked closer to Joon who was still sitting on the edge of the bed.
"No matter what Kevin is doing right now, Joon still has a father and daddy who loves Joon, remember? So, Joon doesn't have to worry about anything anymore." Jaya said while gently stroking Joon's hair.
Joon gasped at Jaya's words, which seemed to accuse Kevin.
"This is definitely not Papa Kevin's orders, Dad. I'm sure Papa couldn't have done something this cruel," Joon snapped, not accepting the accusations made by Jaya.
Jaya's gentle expression, now drastically changed. He looked coldly at Joon.
