On weekends as usual, Finn always spends time off with one of his parents. He was so happy even though the time off was only spent sitting all day in the park or playing games. As long as Finn does any activities with one of his three parents, Finn will feel happy. It's been going on since little Finn until now.
This time, it was Kenichi's turn to accompany Finn to play. Not only Jay, but Ken is also very happy when Finn doesn't go to the actual school. That way, they can spend a whole day with their precious Finn. What a strange upbringing.
Maybe only Kevin thought about Finn's education.
For Ken and Jay, the only happy times are when they are with their Finn.
Finn and Ken walk around City Hall. Let's save costs because fuel goes up.
Ken put his arm around Finn's shoulder.
"What are we going to do today, Finn?"
Finn took his uncle's hand off his shoulder. Actually, Ken is Finn's uncle. It's just than Finn calls Ken as 'Daddy'. Just like the 3 men who babysat Finn all these years. Finn called them : Daddy Ken, Father Jay and Papa Kevin.
"Don't be like this, Dad! I'll be shorter later. Today we'll just play games until the evening hehehe ...." Finn replied.
Ken didn't care about Finn's prohibition, he still put his hand on Finn's shoulder and deliberately pressed his nephew's shoulder.
"How tall are you right now, huh?" Ken asked. It seems that recently Finn has grown sideways instead of upwards.
Finn was silent for a moment. The last time he measured his height was when he was about to enter HIS high school a few months ago. Maybe he's gotten taller by now.
"158 centimeters, Dad." Joon answered, reluctant actually.
"Wahahaha ... in short! Daddy's only 184 centimeters now," said Ken while pressing Finn's shoulder. Maybe to make it shorter.
Finn moved a little away from Ken. He didn't want to get shorter because of the pressure from his Daddy.
This person that Joon calls 'Daddy' is actually Finn's uncle. But, for some reason, Finn has lived with Ken, Kevin and Jay since childhood. The three young men have taken care of Finn since he was 4 years old. So, the three of them are fathers to Finn. Even though Finn doesn't know who his real father is, he feels happy.
"But Finn is still in his infancy, Daddy. If Finn grows up, i will definitely exceed your height." Finn said while patting his chest, bragging.
"Finn?" called Ken, gently.
"Yes?" Finn answered. He was still walking down the deserted street. They deliberately passed the mouse path, in order to quickly get to the city park.
"Are you happy?" Ken asked. He pulled Finn's shoulder so that Finn was facing him.
"It means?" Finn frowned, not understanding the question his Daddy suddenly asked.
Ken smiled at his nephew's confusion. Ken gently stroked the top of Finn's head, then said, "I mean, is Finn happy living like this? Doesn't Finn want to know about Finn's biological father?"
Finn was silent. A moment later he smiled. A smile warm like a lotus flower. Finn turned and stepped back, Ken following behind.
"No need, Dad. Finn is already happy like this. For Finn you are only Finn's parents. It doesn't matter whose biological child I am, or I come out of an egg, or I am a clone, or even I come from nature different. All I want is to be your Finn. Forever ...."
Hugg!
Kenichi hugged Joon from behind. So close. He turned Finn's body to face him again.
Ctas!
Ken poked Finn's forehead for no reason, leaving Finn dumbfounded.
"Poetic is poetic, but there's no need for you to be cloned, right? You're kind of a frog, huh?" Ken groaned, annoyed as well as exasperated, seeing the behavior of his sister's son.
"Hahahaha, not a frog but Finn is a kind of reptile, Dad?" Finn laughed so loosely. No burden.
There's nothing funny though. Ah, yes, that's right. He's in the band D'Crocodiles, so of course he's some kind of reptile.
Ken could only shake his head a few times with a smile. No matter what his nephew does, it always invites laughter. Ken doesn't intend to say anything about his old sister's husband actually, but if Finn really wants to know, he will tell him everything.
Ken felt that his nephew had grown up. Maybe if Finn asks, Ken needs to tell him whatever happened. About his mother, or maybe even his biological father.
However, there is one thing Ken doesn't want to reveal to Finn. He didn't dare say that Kevin, Jay and himself had sent a psychiatrist to erase Finn's childhood memories. He didn't want Finn to feel disappointed, as if they were covering up the truth. Even though their goal is for Finn not to remember the accident and not cry out loud every night.
"Come on, walk again, Dad! Too long in the sun makes my handsomeness melt," Finn whispered while dancing on his daddy's arm.
Ken ruffled Joon's hair, exasperated. "You stupid!" Ken rebuked.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
The sound of someone clapping suddenly emerged from the turn of the alley in front of Ken and Finn.
"The dry season is so hot like this, but it won't melt the love between children and someone who claims to be 'daddy'. Sob ... sob, I'm so touched." The figure of a man in his early 60s spoke. He looked as if he was crying, but after that he laughed cruelly. The cry was just to ridicule the man and teenager in front of him.
Ken frowned. He couldn't remember who the old man was. However, after he searched for the memory that had been buried deep, he found it.
That's right, Ken remembers the haughty old figure who was always escorted by several men in black suits. It was Akizawa Suguru, Zenko's father-in-law.
"You! What are you here for, Old Man?!" Ken shouted. He pulled Finn to cover behind his back.
"How are you, Ken? Do you still remember me, um?" said the man in his 60s arrogantly. He smiled horribly.
"Who are they, Dad?" whispered Finn. He saw the old grandpa over his daddy's shoulder.
"Get out of here right away, Finn!" Ken ordered. He was still in a stance, prepared in case the old man's men in front of him attacked.
"Really? Why did I run away, you know? Daddy forgot that I also have some fighting skills, huh?" said Finn.
A moment later, he was in front of Ken, challenging the old man.
"In such a dry dry season, accompanied by the leaves starting to turn yellow. Why don't you just rest at home, Old Grandpa? I don't think this hot weather suits your conditions."
Finn replied to the old man's short poem.
However, it doesn't sound like poetry, in fact it sounds like advice.
Wow, Finn failed to speak poetically since earlier it seemed.
"Daddy told you, get out of here, Finn!" Ken snapped so loudly that it made Finn flinch. Ignoring his nephew's surprise, Ken pulled Finn's arm back. He tells Finn to stay behind him no matter what.
"Bring the boy! Life or death!" the old man ordered his nine men.
A few moments later, the old man got in the car and left his nine men with Finn and Ken.
To be continued....
