Kichi hopelessly reaches his hand out to Emiko as he screams her name out. "Grab hold onto me! I'll save you!", he says to her. Emiko's eyes widen as she barely was able to reach out to his hand as Kichi was forced to lean forward a lot to catch her successfully which ends up with Kichi losing his balance and falling as well. "You both are not going down now", Nikko says as he grabs Kichi by the leg to lift him up. "Let's get you up here right now!", Midori says as she grabs Nikko on the waist and helps him pull up the hanging Emiko and Kichi to safety. Away from all the dangerous that they would have experienced if none acted swiftly enough.
"Thank god we acted quick or else we would have Emiko pancakes today", Midori says to the group as she takes some fresh air in and trying to lighten up the mood. "Hehe, thanks for the mood switch Midori", Emiko says to her with a smile of relief on her face. "Your welcome", she replies back. "You two!", Aki says angrily to the boys who made Emiko fall in the first place. "You are going anywhere out of my sight right now!", she continues to berate at them loudly that made everyone heard the commotion. "We are so sorry!", one of them says to her. "We didn't mean it", the other student says to her. "No apology is gonna fix this near death experience", she says to them with a pissed off look on her face. "Aki calm down", Emiko says to try and calm her friend down but it didn't work. A few moments later their homeroom teacher, Sensei Kaito and the homeroom teacher of the other students, Sensei Yuuto. "I heard everything from Aki. You boys will be receiving some punishments later for not taking caution of your surroundings", Yuuto says to his students. "Is everything alright?", Kaito asks them with a worried look on his face. "Don't worry sensei. We're all right now", Kichi says to him. He was relieved but still decided to help his students out with calming down from that situation, especially Aki as she is still enraged by the two students to the point that one of them started to tear up just from looking at her enraged face.
After a moment of calming down the situation, everyone got back to what they were planning to do today. "Oh yeah, before I go down and enjoy some alone time. Today would be the last day you get to explore Kyoto properly as we will sadly have to go back early tomorrow due to a sudden traffic jam that might occur due to the weather forecast", Kaito says to his students before going down. "Guess we'll have to make the most out of Kyoto today", Midori says to them. "Oh don't worry about that. I've already planned every place to go for today", Emiko says to her. "Oh that's quite useful", Kichi says to her. The group continues to enjoy the beautiful view from a top of the temple while taking photos of the area and selfies with each other using Aki's camera. After resting awhile at the top of the temple. They decided to go down and move onwards to their next location which involves food as Emiko, Kichi and Nikko are all starting to feel hungry after dealing with the stressful situation from earlier. They decided to go to Nishiki Market knowing the place is famously known for having an abundance amount of food for them to pick and choose from. After reaching the bottom of the shrine, they rush towards the nearest bus stop and move onwards with their trip.
A few moments later, they finally arrive at Nishiki Market and as soon as they move near the street their noses were presented with many different types of food that makes them all mouth watering hungry. They walked next to each other as to make sure no one gets lost in the busy street and venture the street to find a place where they can go to grab a quick snack as they aren't hungry to the point of starvation. After wandering around the street for awhile they finally stop at Karikari Hakase to grab some delicious Takoyaki for the go. They ended up purchasing five of them and Nikko decided to pay their food this time around. They all enjoy their takoyaki as they continue to walk around the street before reaching Shinkyogoku Shopping Arcades. As they walk around the area, they went into a gift shop to browse through the shop and see what they could bring back home with them. Aki and Nikko ended up buying a keychain that looks like a fox statue that they've seen at Fushimi Inari Shrine, Emiko and Kichi ended up buying a mug for their parents that has iconic destinations from Kyoto drawn over it and Midori buys a fox plushie. All five of them also ended purchasing matching shirts that they could wear for tomorrow when they go back home. They left the store as it reaches afternoon and they move onto their next destination.
They all went towards the nearest arcade to hangout and just chill for a moment before persuading to their next and final destination of their short lived trip. "Time to just chillax for awhile now", Emiko says to them as she rushes to go grab some currency for them to use on the machines. Midori, Kichi, Nikko and Aki wander around the arcade trying to find something fun for them to play together as they wait for Emiko to come back. "Hey Kichi", Midori says to him as she nudges his shoulder. "Hm?", he says to her. "What about you try your luck on a crane machine and win something for Emiko", she says to him while trying to hold back a giggle. "Sure", he says to her as he looks away to hide his face that is slowly turning red. "I'm back!", Emiko shouts to them. "Welcome back", Kichi says to her. Emiko proceeds to give everyone some coinage to use on the arcade machine as they spread in a certain radius from each other and enjoy some leisure time at the arcade. Midori and Nikko jump towards the racing machine and decided to race against one another to see who is the better racer while Emiko and Aki are talking to each other while playing a game of "Table Hockey : Neo Edition". While everyone is distracted with their own leisure time, Kichi quietly walks toward a nearby crane machine that contains an adorable collection of cat plushies that he think would cheer Emiko up from the situation she went through earlier today.
Kichi keeps on trying but constantly fails to get the plushie he wants to give to her. After a few moments later Midori and Nikko arrives behind him. "What you doing?", the two of them ask him at the same time in a creepy tone that made Kichi jumped. "Hey! Why'd you guys gotta creep me out of all a sudden", he says to them. "Sorry", Nikko apologizes to him. "How's progress though?", Midori asks him. "I have no clue anymore", he says to her. "How about you try to get that rainbow eyed one. I'm betting you'll get it with your next grab", she says to him. "But I've run out of coins though", he says to her. "Not to worry as I am here", Nikko says to him before handing over his last coin. "Thanks a lot Nikko", he says to him before inserting the coin into the crane machine. Kichi puts all of his focus onto the crane machine to make sure he doesn't mess up his final chance at getting a cat plushie for Emiko. Midori and Nikko cheer him on from the side and after a few moments of doubting himself.... The crane lands onto the plushie and... Kichi succeed on getting the cat plushie. Kichi, Midori and Nikko were undoubtedly happy for this achievement before they were meet with a confused Emiko and Aki. "What you guys so happy about?", Emiko asks them. "Oh, there's something that Kichi wants to show you", Midori says to her before nudging her forward. Emiko is still confused but moves forward as she blushes a bit as she is getting close to Kichi. "Here you go. Took me awhile but I won this for you", Kichi says to her as he gives her the rainbow eyed cat plushie to her. Emiko is ecstatically happy but she hides that joy within herself to not scare Kichi off. "Thank you, Kichi-kun", she says to him. "You're welcome" he says back to her as they exchange glances at one another.
After they had their fun at the arcade, they all went to the bus stop to wait for a bus to pick them up for them to finally go towards their final destination which is Kinkaku-ji: The Golden Pavilion. As they wait for their bus, Nikko went ahead and bought some food for them as they were getting a little bit hungry. They indulge themselves in the food to make they go to Kinkaku-ji: The Golden Pavilion with an empty stomach. After a game of UNO, the bus finally arrives and the group aboard the bus to move onwards to their final destination for the day. They finally arrive at their destination and the Pavilion looks as good as the last time each of them went there separately with their families. "Ah, I miss this view", Emiko says to herself. The group walks around the pond area together and arrived at the entrance to the area and they each pay up before entering the garden area. They wandered around the garden while admiring the architecture of the building and along the way they took some pictures with the help of Aki who has trained herself in the arts of photography.
They pass by the teahouse which Midori stops by to buy some matcha tea for them which located within the garden as they exit the garden to get to the small tea garden. The four of them sit down at a nice spot and as they wait for Midori to arrive they apply another round of UNO with some pictures taken as they play the card game. Midori arrives with all of their matcha tea, "Here you guys. Drink up while it's still hot", she says to them before given each of them a cup of matcha tea. They thanked her for the kind gesture and drink their tea together whilst Aki sets up the camera on a timer to take a picture perfect photo of them enjoying their drinks in a nice viewing area of the small tea garden. But Nikko drank his tea a bit too fast which leads to some of the drink spilling onto him and gave him a small burn. "Ah, that hurts", Nikko screams but in a quieter tone to not disturb anyone. Midori bonks him on the head, "Next time, drink a bit slower you idiot". "My bad", he apologizes to her. The other three had a small giggle of the interaction which confused the two of them but they don't mind it and they continued to finish their drinks and put away the cups before heading out of the Pavilion and going back to their dorm as it's getting quite late.
They aboard their bus and head back to their dorm but Emiko, Kichi, Midori and Nikko were all tired and accidentally fell asleep in the back. Aki took the opportunity to take a small pic of them all sleeping and adding a cute cat filter using her phone to make look cuter. She originally plans to post it in the class group chat but she decided not to and cherish the cute moment all to herself without anyone knowing about it. As they finally arrive at their dorm, Aki wakes the four of them up. "Wake up you guys! We've arrived", she says to them with a big smile on her face. They all woke up and leave the bus whilst thanking the bus driver for his services. Aki giggles to herself as she looks at the photo she took earlier which peeked Emiko and Midori's interest. She obliged to show them the pic and blushed at the embarrassing sight of them sleeping whilst having a cat filter on. "Do not show this to anyone else", Emiko says to her. "I won't", she says to her back before giving her a pinky promise. Emiko and Midori are glad that she won't share the photo but they will still have their eyes on her to make she keeps her promise.
They all head towards the courtyard for their meet up. Kaito checks up on Emiko and asks her if she's alright. Emiko tells him she's alright and he was relieved that Emiko wasn't traumatized by the accident she went through this morning. "One last thing. You are allowed to do whatever you want tonight but you must do it within the dorm area only and follow school rules as to not do anything weird tonight. You understand me?", he says to his class and they all nod to follow the rules for tonight. "So what are your guys plans tonight? Me, Midori and Aki are just planning to take another round at the bathhouse.", Emiko says to the guys. "Oh, we were planning to do the same. Maybe we should meet up afterwards to play around of Mario Kart together", Kichi says to her. They agreed and wave at each other as they walk away to their rooms to prepare to head to the bathhouse. After changing their clothes they all head to the bathhouse and went into their own separate areas to enjoy a nice relaxing hot bath. The girls are chatting with each other whilst Kichi asks Nikko to wash his back. "Sure thing", he says back to him. Kichi relaxes as he thinks of Emiko who is on the other side of the walls that is in front of him but he stops himself from thinking such things about his childhood friend and just relax in the bath. "You don't mind washing my back after this, do you?", Nikko asks him. "Nah, I don't mind", he replies back.
They all exit the bathhouse after they are done relaxing and meet up once more at the main living quarter of the dorm area. "Hey you guys", Nikko says to greet his friends. "Hey", Midori replies back. They all sit together and pull out their Nintendo Switches and play around of Mario Kart together with Aki hosting the mini-tournament of theirs to see who is the best racer out of all of them. After a few games, they reached the conclusion that Nikko is the worst at Mario Kart while Midori is the best with the other three being in between them both on the leaderboard with a constantly changing outcome. They all had fun but it was getting late so they said goodnight to one another before going back to their rooms to rest up for tomorrow.
They wake up to a bright and shinning morning. All of them wore the matching shirt that they promised to wear together for today as their homeroom teacher gathers everyone around at the courtyard for his final speech. Kaito announces, "It's been a fun trip and it'll be sad to know that this would be the last trip we get for the year. I hoped everyone had a great time and will cherish the moments they spent during this trip. Breakfast is already prepared in the cafeteria so everyone can go to the cafeteria to eat up before packing your bags up as the busses haven't arrived yet. That's all for now". Everyone heads off to the cafeteria to pick up their breakfast and enjoy it while chatting to each other. Kichi and Nikko sat with the other guys and had conversations about their trip while Emiko attracted the attention of all the girls as they were all worried for her well being due to yesterday's accident. "I'm alright you guys. No need to worry about me. You should be worrying about your stomach cause I hear some rumbling", she says to them to calm them down while making a slight joke to get everyone to eat their food. Emiko, Midori and Aki talked to each other while enjoying their breakfast. After finishing, they all stood up and went to put their stuff away within their bags.
They all gathered around together near the waiting area as they wait for everyone else to be done with packing up. "Hey, let's take a picture to remember today", Aki says to them. They all gathered around and Aki takes a beautiful looking selfie of all five them alongside the sneaking Kaito who sneaked up into their picture. "Eek, Sensei when did you get here", Aki says to him. "Hehe, sorry for scaring you guys up but I didn't wanna miss a chance to be in a photo with you guys", he says to them while giggling. After awhile, everyone finishes packing their stuff away and they all aboard their busses as the bus sets course towards their school. Emiko is ecstatic that she got to enjoy a wonderful trip with her friends and even had a few memorable moments that she won't forget as she continues to write down on her diary to remind herself of the events.
