Aldrick again embraced Tara's body, which was still shaking. Seeing the girl's confused and hurt face made Aldrick feel even more guilty. He didn't want to see his girl hurt again.
"Why does that memory seem so mean to me?" squeaked Tara behind Aldrick's arms in a weak voice. Her body was still shaking with teary eyes.
Aldrick was just silent with his grip getting tighter. It's all her fault that she can't accept the fate that they have been together. The girl is hurt by the bad memory of what she did in the past. Aldrick is guilty. Guilty.
"I'm sorry," he then whispered.
Tara looked up at Aldrick who seemed to be hiding something. That worried face with guilt made Tara couldn't bear to look at her, but she also needed help remembering all the past events. Either it was as painful as his memory or quite the opposite. He wanted to remember everything without missing a bit.
