Erik opened his eyes and was blinded by the sunlight, so he put his hand in front of his face to block the influx of light that was being thrown his way.
"VICKI what happened in there why was I basically trapped in my memories." asked Erik.
[Well sir, i believe the system's creator forced you into the state between life and death.This allowed you to view your memories from your past life. That is the most logical explanation I could predict.]
"So the Embodiment sent me into those memories to guide me through to help me progress through this world or either use fear tactics to scare me into submission to subjugate this world as a complete overlord." thought Erik.
He embraced these memories which as he did he was put into a state between life and death by the Embodiment to either scare or encourage him. It also seemed as if this entire world was frozen in time because the sun's position had not changed since he had passed out, which felt like years or even decades.
Erik began to stand up but before he could he quickly fell back towards the ground and then a similar darkness and VICKI was gone.
[Welcome back to the void Erik.] said Number 1
[We know you have a multitude of questions and we will provide answers to those that need to be answered.] said Number 2.
Erik looked around and things seemed brighter but not darker, not in a sense of light level but more sinister. He couldn't help but get chills, yet he decided to speak anyway.
"What the heck do you mean by only answering those that can be answered. Those memories were locked away for a reason yet I was forced to relive them thanks to your kind gesture. I personally think that if I just destroy that world then your mission would fail." said Erik who was frustrated.
[YOU DARE TO THREATEN A ENTITY BEYOND YOUR UNDERSTANDING FOOLISH MORTAL. WE CAN DESTROY YOUR SOUL TO THE POINT WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER EXISTED ALL THE PAIN, SUFFERING AND ENJOYMENT YOU HAVE BROUGHT PEOPLE WILL HAVE NEVER EXISTED…]
[Cease this foolishness number three we are beyond his understanding. We have to understand that he has reason to be angry. We forced him to relive his most haunting memories as if he was there again. As the great entity we are, we have to show compassion. We must understand how he is feeling.] said Number 1.
"My apologies oh great ones who send mortals to conquer planets that they can do themselves but I guess that is how all divine entities are using their creations to spread their will" said Erik.

[Long ago in a galaxy far away from yours we were invaded like you were but we had not yet colonized other planets and developed the stealth technology Mankind had. We were also invaded by the tyrannical Praxxons but same as you we weren't prepared for the decimation of our homeworld. We were sadly annihilated but our kind had this special unknown power which we didn't know about until after we died. The power was to gather our collective minds into one being and we achieved godhood. Our homeworld which is now known by other deities as our point of origin. Once we achieved godhood our star exploded and created what is now known galaxy wide as Divine Guardians but as of recently. Our point of origin had been discovered by a mortal causing our divine guardians to swarm around the origin to protect it.] said Number 1.
[Up until recently our only purpose had been to reincarnate souls in our assigned sector but once we saw that your kind had been attacked by the Praxxons we watched as your people planned a counter attack and were almost defeated until you launched that anti-planetary weapon at their homeworld we became intrigued. So we chose a human who felt sorry, but also felt a deep sense of hatred for the Praxxons to achieve our goal, You. Our primary goal is to unite all the planets and being in our sector to peacefully coexist so mortals like the Praxxons would never exist. We also want the beings of those planets to live peacefully amongst themselves, so when we saw how you had been brutally murdered over a trivial matter we knew that you were the one we needed to advance the primitive civilizations in our sector. We knew you would not let petty murders happen, that is why you were chosen to achieve our goals.] said Number 3.
[Once this is all done and you have advanced all the primitive worlds it has been agreed upon by the council of the gods that you would be able to achieve godhood and be able to watch over and wonder around any sectors choosing to advance any civilization you choose and to stop wars before they happen.] said Number 1 sincerely.
'Wow that was entirely too much to take in but did you even think to ask me or inform me of what my purpose was just send me to an unknown world full of warring people and creatures unheard of. I do truly thank you for choosing me but a little more information on what I was doing would have been helpful." said Erik.
Erik thought to himself if he had really been told that he was going to be the savior of the universe he would have gained a ego but after viewing his memories he had gained a new prospective on life and would truly cherish everyone and everything alive. He would crush corrupt governments to maintain peace and would check up on worlds he had helped build up. Erik didn't need to take over the worlds evilly but smartly with a concise plan.
