"Should we check the garden area in front of us, Mr. William?"
"I don't think it's necessary, we'd better focus on checking the inside of this house first."
"Alright then, first- we'd better follow this passage all the way to the back."
Alfred ushered us through the L-shaped hallway again, after passing a turn on our left there was a hallway that was bigger than the hallway where the Westlys study was, maybe 2 times bigger in size. While on our right there is a room with double doors again.
"Over here"
Alfred said as he opened the double doors, we saw a fairly large dining room. There are rows of chairs that can be occupied by up to 12 people with a long table in the middle. There were candles lined up on the table which, of course, had died. There are also rows of Westly-made weapons as decorations on the walls, on the sides of the room there are also several glass cabinets which contain decorations of various kinds of antique plates and cups.
"Wait a minute let me turn on the light here, so the room can be seen clearly."
Actually without Alfred needing to turn on the light, I can see all of this room clearly. Annabelle can do it too but not as well as me. The most interesting thing in this dining room is that there are 4 doors on the north, west, east, and south sides. But it's quite strange if there is a door on the east side, there should have been a door when we all passed through it. but it was only visible wall there.
"Well, Mr. William, is there anything you want to ask? Or maybe you saw something?"
"Are some of the doors in this room just for display? Because the east side of the door, when we passed it was only a wall."
Alfred then went forward and opened the door on the east side, when the door was opened only the wall inside was visible.
"It's something like this, Mr. William, almost all of the doors in this house can be opened. However, many of the roles are not used to move to the adjacent room, but only contain walls or go directly outside the house."
"I see, so those are the doors used to outwit the ghosts?"
"Actually it's only one of them Mr. William, you could say this house is like a small maze."
After that, we also tried the north door which contains a wall and the west door which turned out to be a hallway opposite the one we entered at first. In front of us is also a garden that we can see from the window, Alfred then invites us into the next room again. You could say this side is the right side of this house.
We enter a room which contains a few long chairs and a table for tea or snacks. From this room there is also a wooden door with a glass top, because this room is directly related to the garden outside. Because this room is wider to the side than the room on the left, then there is no hallway on this side and only this room is filled in this side.
Then we headed to the back side of the house which has a toilet, a bathroom for servants, a maid's room and a kitchen. At the end of this house there are 2 large rooms on our right and left, as well as a door at the end of the hall in the middle of the road leading to these 2 rooms, of course the door is connected to the wall of this house.
The first room we visited was the kitchen which was on the right side of the back end of the house. The kitchen room there looks very large, and has a stone wall on one side. Where there are stoves, ovens and all kinds of things that use fire.
The floor is also covered with stone floor, so this place is safe from fire. There is nothing special in the kitchen because of course it only contains cooking utensils, food ingredients including spices, plates as well as glasses and a washing place of course. From this kitchen room we can see the Westly family garden and there is a door that can be used to go to the garden as well.
After that, we went to the far left of this house where there is a rest room for the servants in this house and a bathroom for them. At the end of this place there is also a bathroom for the servants. At the end of this place there is also a door at the end of the hall.
"This is where the servants rest, I naturally can't open all the rooms here, because the servants are already asleep. So we are going to my room, so we can see an example of the room here because the shape and size of the place is more or less the same."
Alfred then opened the door to his room which was in the middle of the hall, the size of the room was probably around 11m2. Inside there is 1 bed to sleep one person, a wardrobe, a bookcase, a cupboard containing chairs and a table. The room is also decorated with various kinds of tea drinking furniture starting from the cups and tea leaves.
"That's more or less the servant room, Mr. William's. I think we're done with all the 1st floor. Is there anything you'd like to ask Mr. William again?"
"Does the door only contain back walls?"
William pointed to the door at the end of the hall where the servants slept.
"Master William can try opening it."
William tried to open the door, this time when the door was opened there were no walls inside. However, it is connected to the outside of the house, but the location of the door is very close to the fence so that we cannot open the door fully.
"Well, it turns out that this time the door is connected to the outside of the house, but the location is very close to the fence. What a messy house."
When William said this Young Master Westly glanced at him again, perhaps he was displeased with his house being said to be a mess, but in reality it was, wasn't it? I don't think there are sane person, who will say that this house is well-organized.
"Ah, this room is the place that Miss Annabelle will use to rest. The room is also always cleaned because that place is a resting place for guests who bring servants to stay, so you can immediately rest there later."
Alfred said that while showing one of the rooms near the end of this passage.
"Okay, thank you sir Alfred."
After they finished visiting all the places on the 1st floor, they finally started going up to the 2nd floor by using the stairs near the main door.
