Jane focused on Kairy and her mother again. Not long after Uriel floated upwards, towards them. She stopped before the father-daughter pair. No emotion could be seen on Uriel's face. In contrast to all the emotions she normally showed, this was a complete turnaround for Jane.
As leading figures of countless subjects and a project like this, one needed to uphold an indifference in front of their subjects. Looking behind her at all the youths looking at Uriel in admiration, she understood.
Jane looked at the 'pure-blooded' youths. Aside from the arrogant and haughty air surrounding them, they also felt powerful. Jane is certain they had cultivated from a young age already.
She felt a bit uncomfortable thinking that her parents didn't tell her about this world. But on the other side, she was grateful. She had 18 years of a somewhat 'normal' life.
Adramalech looked at Jane, he could kind of guess what she was thinking about. "They couldn't cultivate, but what they did was comprehend their chosen weapons and try to comprehend laws."
Again the voice of her father was projected into her ears.
Adramalech's head perked up to Uriel. "I have to go." He looked back towards Jane. "I'll be back in a bit, then we can start your training." Jane nodded.
Adramalech disappeared like he was never there. Jane refocused her attention to Kairy, seeing her sit there with furrowed brows deep in thought.
A moment later she felt someone approaching her from behind. She glanced back, seeing a boy not much older than her, with blond hair and blue eyes, a little taller than her and a good build, a strong physique. On his hip inside a scabbard is a one-handed sword.
"Hi, my name is Lloyd Pendragon, my dad is Arthur Pendragon and my mother is Guinevere Pendragon. Who are you?"
Jane looked at Lloyd. She didn't answer, inwardly she is smirking. 'Let's have some fun shall we?'
"Hi, my name is Jane, as you saw my dad is Lord Pride." Jane used the title of her dad, which she heard a few times already.
"Yes, I saw. What about your mother?" Lloyd asked. Jane didn't answer at first.
After a moment of silence. "Does that matter?"
Lloyd smirked. "I see. Well if you ever need help in the way of the sword, hit me up."
Jane almost couldn't hold her disgust from showing on her face. "Thanks for the offer, Lloyd... But I don't think I'll need it."
Lloyd frowned. "Me, a pure-blooded direct descendant of the Legendary Arthur Pendragon, am offering you guidance in the way of the sword. You are refusing me, bastard?"
Jane just thought. 'Well, that didn't take long. This wasn't any fun at all.'
"Just because you're beau-" Lloyd reached out to grab Jane when a hand grabbed his half stretched out hand.
"She won't need your guidance. You're way over your head on this one Lloyd." A husky and deep voice says. "This is Jane, potential Heir of Clan Pride."
Lloyds eyes widen and panic strikes his face. "Well, off you go, think about your actions." Like a little kid, Lloyd scurries away after being thrown back by the owner of the husky and deep voice.
"Sorry about him. He is a good boy but at times a bit stupid." Jane doesn't answer but is fascinated by the looks of the man in front of her. He is tall with a lean build. Dark violet hair, almost black, a face inhumanly handsome, and pink eyes. But that isn't what was odd about him. It are the horns growing out of his forehead curling backward over his head.
The horns did not diminish the natural charm of this man but shot it through the roof. His horns are a reflective dark pink, almost black.
"You should suppress your demonic urges."
Jane felt a tugging in the back of her mind. Saying that she is very attracted to this man. Jane shakes her head, regaining control.
"What are you trying to do, messing with my head?" Jane asks.
The handsome man somewhat apologetically looks at her. "I'm telling you to suppress your demonic urges when I can't even control mine. What you just felt was my lack of control of my Charm law."
"What do you mean?" Jane asks a bit confused. "How can you not control that?"
The man embarrassingly scratches the back of his head and chuckles. Which resulted in a few sighs to be heard behind them, seeing that some girls are looking at the man with heartstruck eyes.
"Well. I have a special constitution that makes me loved by Charm laws. So, I am always passively learning and comprehending Charm laws. As the Charm laws are all attracted to me. The Charm laws affect my immediate surroundings. Only when I complete my constitution, which I almost have, will I be able to fully control it."
Jane frowned. "Why are you telling me this? No, wait. Who are you anyway?"
"Oh, dad didn't tell you yet?" The man asks.
Now Jane is fully confused. "Dad? No?"
"I see. Well, then. I'll be the one to tell you. You can call me third brother, Amias." Amias says looking deadly serious.
Jane's mind is blanc. 'Third brother? What does that mean? Is he my brother? No, that can't be.'
Amias turns his head, making Jane follow his gaze.
They looked at a group of six individuals. Around these individuals in an almost 10-meter radius sat no one. It was like everyone consciously or subconsciously avoided them.
At the forefront of these six individuals stood two figures a man and a woman. The woman had black hair and blue-purplish eyes, a complexion that seemed blueish in a way, and two horns sprouted from her forehead growing vertically upwards. 'Just like dad.' Jane thought.
This woman was holding back a burly man. This man has red hair, eyes, and reddish skin. Two horns came from the side of his head growing forwards almost meeting at the forehead the ends of the horns pointing upward.
The woman was holding back the man, but that didn't help him from glaring at his target. Following his gaze, his target is Lloyd.
"The woman and the man she is holding back are First sister and Second Brother. But we call them, big sister Lucy and big brother Seth."
Jane was too stunned to speak. The only thought running through her head is. 'I have older brothers and sisters? Awesome!'
