Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 : The Beginning

Unlike every other god which was made with meaning or with love, Ethon was made out of the rage and pain of the god of creation, knowing and only feeling that Ethon grew to become the god of war, not knowing or feeling any emotion other than rage., gods are only to start fulfilling their assigned duties when they become adults which is when they are one thousand and three hundred years old, Ethon would roam around the human realm in his human form. During this time, he would watch the humans play and socialize amongst themselves and wonder what it would be like to feel the same joy and happiness they do. One day, whilst roaming around in the human realm, Ethon sees a young boy seemingly dressed in luxurious clothes and with striking prism eyes. He sees the boy crying and walks up to him. He asks "why does water leak from your eyes?" The young boy looks up at him in confusion, but continues to cry, ignoring Ethon at the moment. Ethon asks again, "Why does water leak from your eyes?" This time the boy gets up angrily and shouts "I am Magnus Castellanos. Crown prince of the Seronie Kingdom, Now apologies for your insolence!"

Ethon looked down at Magnus and said " You have yet to answer my question." Magnus looked at Ethon in disbelief and said "is that how you speak to your future king?" Magnus then said, "I have no king because no one is above me." Angered, Magnus said I will have your head on a stake if you do not beg me for forgiveness". While Magnus continued his ranting, Ethon had sensed very sinister energy looming around the area. As Ethon was about to warn Magnus of this, he remembered what his mother had told him. She said, " Ethon, you may roam around freely in the human world and do whatever you please, but you must not mess directly with humans for whatever you do might affect the string of faith". Ethon, heeding his mother's words, decided to leave. As he was about to take his leave, Magnus tugged on his clothes and asked him "why did you ask why I was crying?" "crying?" Ethon asked, wondering what this mysterious act was. Magnus then replied "Yes. why did you a-" Before Magnus could finish his sentence, he was carried by Ethon into the woods. As Ethon jumped from tree to tree, avoiding arrows seemingly aimed at them, Magnus screamed at the sight of this. Ignoring Magnus, Ethon said to himself "I must find out more about that thing called crying."

Once there was no sign of the arrows, Ethon stopped at a pond not too far away from their previous destination. He then dropped Magnus to the ground and said, "Now tell me about that thing you called crying." Magnus, who was still in shock that he had just been carried in the air by a boy who seemed to be of his age, unable to comprehend this, Magnus shouted, saying "Are you a demon.?" Ethon then raises his hand to look at himself and then walks towards the pond looking at his reflection and asks "Are you a demon?" Magnus replies saying "No I am not a demon," Ethon says "then I am not a demon" Magnus strikes back saying "if not then explain to me how you were flying in the air because a human would not be able to do that" Ethon looks in confusion before saying "But we look the same how can I be a demon". Magnus takes a good look at him and says "such red eyes, such pale skin, you cannot be from around here. The people of Seronie are known for our darker skin. Such pale skin like yours can only be seen in the east but not in Seronie. But most of all, regardless of where you are from, such crimson red eyes are foreign to all so I can only guess that you are from the demon realm. If so, I will not report you because you saved my life, but I suggest you identify yourself now and ask for my forgiveness." said Magnus proudly.

Ethon looks at Magnus expressionless and says "I am Ethon the god of war and I bow to no one". Magnus bursts out laughing and says "You are a funny one. There is no such god and if you were a god why would you be here talking to me? Do you not have godly work to fulfil?" "I wanted to learn more about the human realm" said Ethon. Laughing, Magnus says, " Okay, if you are a god, prove it I dare you to carry that tree with one hand, then I will believe you are a god." Ethon replies, saying "okay" Ethon walks towards a tree about ten times his size and carries it with little to no effort put and says to Magnus "do you believe me now?" Magnus who is in a state of shock whimpers as he says "Yes, please drop the tree back down." Ethon replies saying "Okay " While moving his hands in fast motion to drop the tree back down as he is doing this an enormous amount of wind gushes from the spot where Ethon was to drop the tree Magnus then shouts "NO! do you wish to cause an earthquake with the speed at which you are dropping that thing." Over the next few minutes Magnus and Ethon quarrel on how to drop the tree till finally it was resolved. Magnus, still in disbelief that he had just met a god, questioned him again, saying "a demon could very well carry a tree of that size too". Magnus thought that, according to what he was taught before, gods have a divine form. Once you see it, you can not stop looking.

Ethon replies, saying "if you believe I am a demon, that is up to you, but I shall not show you my sacred form just for you to believe me." Magnus then says "You truly are a god." his teacher had said that if by any rare chance he meets a god he should ask this question to be sure he is not being deceived by a demon because true gods will never show their real self to mere humans. Ethon says "now that you believe me will you answer my question? What was that thing you called crying?" Magnus replies, saying he would answer any question that Ethon asks of him and asks Ethon to stay for a few days so he could also get a chance to ask him questions of his own, and so they can both gain knowledge about each other, but Ethon refuses and says he can only come here once every human year which is a hundred godly years. so they both agree on Ethon's plan and choose to meet on this day every year. As Ethon was about to leave, Magnus stops him and says "if any human asks you about your identity, make sure not to reveal your identity as a god." Ethon leaves confused but nods his head in agreement.

Will everything remain this peaceful?
