The castle was eerily quiet the next day as Gisella found herself walking through the halls. Ryre had failed to summon her again to the gardens and she had neither seen him in the kitchens or the halls after.
She made her way to the servants’ quarters with the rest of her troupe as they had finished their meal for the evening and were headed to sleep. Malota had made the announcement that she wished to speak with them.
“Our stay at Farrador has come to an end.” This was something that, surprisingly, set an upset mood for Gisella. “We will be performing our final act later tomorrow and after that we will move to the neighbouring kingdom.”
Gisella had felt something then as she made her way to the kitchens once more in search of Ryre; it was something she had not felt before upon leaving a kingdom. She wondered if it had to do anything with Ryre at all, and her face flushed.
