Gisella heard her own groan ricochet against the castle halls as Otho fell on top of her—well, “crashed into her” would be a more appropriate description of what he had been doing for the past hours they had been walking around.
Roseia had somehow convinced the two of them that if they were to be stuck inside these castle walls for at least another moon cycle they may as well explore it.
“What are they going to do?” Roseia challenged Gisella's protests, “Lock us up? Surprise, surprise; they already did. We may as well be entertained prisoners than bored ones.”
“Well I do suppose I enjoy the comfort of my blankets and pillows instead of a stone walled holding cell.” Gisella shot back and Roseia only rolled her eyes as she danced along the halls. They had all taken their shoes off moments before they left.
