Twenty years ago, a massive tower appeared in center of Neophorn a country full of buildings, mountains, hills, rivers and now, a massive tower dwarfing any building within the vicinity of a 100 miles.
These towers were found everywhere around the world within a city that had a dense population.
Many thought the towers were works of God, many thought it was some alien device that came to earth. Either way on August 16th 2010, the thought of its origin was disrupted with the sudden arrival of monsters that overflowed from the towers' base into cities, Goblins even though they are thought of as low rank monsters, they quickly overthrew the country's military might and destroyed cities.
Their reign only lasted three days as new people that managed to manifest powers that could rival the goblins introduced themselves to the world. These new people were labeled as the 'Heroes of Mankind' but were called Heros in the end.
They fought the goblins day and night as the hero population grew, they managed to push and refrain the goblins back into the tower in which most of them died. They found the reason for the monster flood, once they entered the first floor of the tower the space was massive, it had its own sunlight, forests, mountains, plains and atmosphere. It was as if they were teleported to a new world, the heroes were faced with another problem, they could not leave the first floor, for every time they would try to leave they were greeted with a popup window that stated…
[Welcome Heros! Unfortunately you cannot return to your world yet due to the high population of monsters and leaving will cause them to overflood your world! But do not worry! All you have to do is reduce the amount of monsters to a safe enough level or kill the Goblin King, unlocking the second floor, only then will you be able to return!]
The first floor of the tower was packed with goblins, the heroes were quickly overthrown and those that entered the tower without having second thoughts would also end up like the others, struggling to stay alive as they danced with death.
Their struggle would come to an end when a group of heroes formed a party and marched towards the Goblin Kingdom in which they successfully managed to slay the Goblin King throwing the kingdom in a state of panic, the lost of order created wars as the goblins fought and killed each other before coming to a state of boredom and wanted the sight of human blood spill in front of them but by then, the heroes were already headed toward the gate after being greeted with the message box..
[Congratulations Heroes! The Goblin King has not only been slain, but due to his sudden and unknown death, the goblin kingdom was thrown into a state of imbalance, inevitably reducing the population through wars and lack of leadership.
The Heros successfully managed to escape whilst encountering only a few low class goblins which they still dodged due to their lack of strength and resources.
They lived on as legends and were given the new title that separated them from the rest, ' The Last 12 Heroes', they told their stories to others all over the world encouraging the new generation of heroes to fight the monsters with courage and bravery, they also warned the world that if we do not fight back the towers would overflow again and that team work would get them through anything.
In the current age, the towers still exist and the growth of heroes grew as well as the growth of new guilds. A new type of heroes emerged known as hunters, they were average humans without the powers of heroes but possessed the mindset of warriors. They were not completely welcomed at first but they grew in popularity as they managed to clear floors and fought alongside the heroes, and together, cleared the 20th floor of the tower.
The building that was built within close proximity of the tower, 'The Heroes and Hunters Association' regulated the entrance of the tower and built a statue in resemblance and recognition of the 'Twelve Last Heroes'.
Humanity could now return to their everyday lives and relax without the threat or fear of monsters invading their cities as they now have a way to fight back and stand their ground in case of another monster flood and return peace to Earth.
