"Get out of here" yelled Binita pushing Anne to the floor "you don't deserve to be here.'' Binita was a rich girl or that's what they all thought. Anne's school was for pretty poor people but some people had money more than others, which made Anne feel extremely poor. "Where's your dad? " Binita sarcastically said, Anne could feel her tears coming down, "What are you going to cry''.Anne ran out of the crowd crying.
After she ran away from her bully she told her mom, "I don't want to be here anymore " her mother, in shock, said "why?" " because of Binita" her mother knew she couldn't do anything, she knew Binita had more money she was pretty powerful among the poor she said "ok ``. Anne knew her mother would say yes because her mother wanted to move for a while, all jobs were paying way less and she wanted to move on from Anne's father that left. "Pack your stuff we're leaving Friday," Anne's mom said. Anne was more than delightfully she began to pack "leave some stuff here," Anne's mother said. The next days passed by fast and before she knew it, she was in the train station, her train was called. Anne and her mom were getting on the train "finally we're getting out of here," said Anne but when she turned to her mother she started crying "What's wrong mother" " nothing just sad leaving this all behind makes me emotional". Anne understood that after all her mom made her whole life there. After they were done crying the train shook, the train smelled like it was burning, people started screaming someone screamed, " there is a bomb!" Anne began to freak out with her mom. All of a sudden everything went black she saw little bits of stuff, she saw her mom bleeding her leg was gone she saw people in pieces, people bleeding to death. Then her eyes closed you when she opened them she was on the ground. There were some people around her death, her mom was gone Anne was injured not badly but injured. All she thought was her mom was in the hospital she didn't even think about her injuries and just ran to her mother, the lady at the desk asked how old she was, "thirteen" Anne replied. The lady looked her up and down "were you in the bombing". Anne thought about it, it's better to say no for no checkup "no" Anne replied ``I came here to see someone that was in the bombing". "What's her name Anay Bania?" The lady looked at Anne worried, ``you can't see her right now" "why?" Anne desperately shout "she is in risk of dying, may I know what's your relationship with the patient" said the lady at the front desk, "my mom" Anne cried. Anne fell to the floor and started blowing her eyes out, she had anger in her. The lady asked, ``Do you have any other family member?'' Anne's mother always said to say yes " yes " Anne replied and ran out of there to their little apartment there she wanted to get revenge but she felt weak and tried and all she wanted to do is cry.
Anne begged to any god that ever existed, after that her eyes closed finally some rest. She had a dream telling her "go to the deep place where something is stored and you wear it'', "who are you" said Anne. All of a sudden she heard a barking dog had broken into the dog and started pulling on her sleeve, usually she was scared of dogs but she was pretty calm. The dog wanted to take her somewhere, Anne was too tired she couldn't move, she felt weak, but the dog helped her get up, he was her support and she slowly walked to the only closest they had. She opened the door and there were only clothes she tried to stand up on her own, she tried looking for a map, but couldn't find it. "Where is it ?'' Anne whispered, she searched everything and took out all the clothes and stuff they had in the closet but nothing. "Can you help me please? " Anne pleaded to the dog, the dog braked and looked. He found this string and tried to pull it, it was too strong Anne tried to help but finally, they got it open. This green map floated in the air. She managed to help her when she opened it, it was for a travel camp.
She opened the green map. It was a watch but she had to go to the camp to activate it. The map had a red trail, the watch had a different time and she tried to ask the dog what it was for. "What is this used for, what can it work for, " said Anne the watch looked ancient; it was weird. She didn't know she had to go to the travel camp, but the dog got the watch and pointed to the travel camp.
She wanted to go now but the dog barked and blocked the doorway to outside "you want to wait until the morning" asked Anne. The dog barked which she guessed yes, but it was too hard. Anne was feeling miserable; she only slept for 1 hour, then she heard a knock but who could it be, could it be dad because he heard of the train bombing. Anne quickly got up and dressed in the only clothes they had. She washed her face and opened the door, surprised that Anne's heart dropped. It wasn't her dad, it was the doctor, what if he came to tell her bad news?
"What happened to my mom, why are you here," "don't worry your mother is ok, this is for the bill", "thank you," said Anne and closed the door it was 800000 rupees, where would Anne get the money from " I have to go to the camp or they will let my mother died." "How would I get there if I don't have money for a taxi", the dog woke up, the dog saw how worried she was, the dog pulled her by her dress "stop that now" Anne yelled but the dog kept pulling on her dress. Anne realized the dog wanted to take her somewhere, she let him take her to the back and looked at the mountain, Anne said "that mountain was always weird I don't know why they got this apartment next to this ugly mountain", the dog looked and pointed, Anne ran inside and looked at the mountain when she looked the map change, the camp was right behind her house she ran and got the watch. She ran up the hill but it was to the step she saw guards she had to hide in a bush, she heard a growl she thought it was the dog who helped her, but it wasn't it was a guard dog, Anne had to run she ran and ran.
She ran up to the mountain. Her breath was gone she saw this sign danger and don't enter. The watch started to glow and float the clock some weird time it looked like it pointed to the camp. Anne was too nervous "I can't do this" she was shaking. But she thought of the bombing when she saw her mom's leg blown off, and saw all those people die with the big scar on her face. She got angry she got determined to go in but how she remembers her mom saying something before they got on the train "if you ever have to go to a camp always go from the front go through the dirt path it might not be able to see it but there's something that always sticks out'' Anne tried to look she found this weird looking rock next to it was a faith path of dirt, it must be this way she flowed it she started to get dizzy and heard noises of animals, she never heard of the path came to left or right turn, she was about to go to the right because people trust mostly the right. She reminded her mom said "never trust right it always leads to trouble" she and Anne's dad took a right turn somewhere but she couldn't remember and as soon as they did he left them and left Anne's mom without anything. Anne was not sure the left took a longer turn, and maybe it would lead out the camp or straight to guards. She was not sure but she knew how devastated Anne's mom was when her dad left so she decided to take a left the path nothing strange beside the point the dizziness stopped. Bingo she got in the camp looked empty but she had to walk but also hide she tried her best then she ran into a kid about her age Anne freaked out "Please don't tell anyone" cried Anne, the boy gasp Anne was not sure why then all the sudden a memoir from her mom she remembers her mom telling her something like " you will never be allowed in the camp," but she was not quite sure what that meant.
Anne looked at the boy "do you know me?" The boy was frightened, " are you Anne " "Well indeed I am why" you're not allowed in here" finally the things here mother said started clicking. Anne pleaded "can you help me " . The boy was thinking about it but the camp leader was coming, he quickly responded "ok now go hide, meet me in area 6", Anne was grateful but she had to run before the camp director caught her. She hid next to area 6 and then she saw the boy, Anne whispered "hey boy over here ", the boy quickly got there she sat next to Anne and asked "what brings you hear" Anne wasn't sure " probably to get revenge" "what do you mean probably" said the boy." "A map led me here `` ''oh ok," said the boy " but in the meantime, I want to go back in time to the train bombing," Anne said " the train bombing that happened two days ago" " exactly," said Anne " can you help me " " sure said the boy".
The boy and Anne went in the middle of the night to practice traveling back in time. "This is that hard right, " said Anne, " it's harder than it looks like," said the boy " remember don't press the blue button, that's when you go back in time, and you're not ready for that. Anne saw this cool mechanical she had to go into, " when do you think I will be ready," said Anne " in a week" "what" yelled Anne. " In a week my mom is going to die" the boy looked at her " what do you mean die" "my mom lost a leg and we don't have the money for the medicals nor the blood expenses and they can't keep her for a week". Anne sadly said the boy looked at Anne and said in two days he showed her everything and how to get back Anne understood very quickly from all that 4 hours past by the boy had to go back before the doctor came the boy gave Anne a hiding spot, Anne went but couldn't sleep she saw no one was awake. She quietly went to the machine and put the time and date on the machine, she went inside the machine. All the buttons were blue now and she could only touch green, there was only one big green button she pressed it.
All the sudden she fell she closed her eyes she was time traveling as soon as she woke up she was in Mumbai, but it looked different it looked more old and peaceful she asked a man what date was it they said "1993" " the day I was born said" said Anne, if she was here, was she even going to be born, it was two days before her birthday she had to do back before that she had to think. Then she heard bombings again they were terrorist bombings she had to hide she had a flashback of the train bombing Anne whispered " was Mumbai ever peaceful " after the bombing, everything was on the floor but Anne had to leave this mission for later. She had to focus on getting back then an idea popped in her head, what is she went back to where the camp was before she had to walk through all the dead people, she had to get a taxi she had to go behind her apartment were the mountain, but there was no taxi she had to walk all the way home luckily she wasn't that far, she finally got to the mountain she could see the camp but they didn't know who she was so she showed the watch and they let her in she finally could travel back to save her mom.
As she was walking to area 6 she saw the camp director, she got nervous because she wasn't born yet he didn't know who he was right. The director came up to her and looked her up and down and "may I know who I have the pleasure of meeting", "yes sir my name is" Anne didn't know what to say she had to make up a name fast "Binita". The camp director looked at her again and said "oh well how did you get in here" Anne showed him her watch, the man looked at her watch "may I" asked the man "sure" said Anne he grabbed Anne's wrist and observed it. " May I ask what are you going here? You don't have a mission now do you" Anne replied "no sir, I just came back from a mission" "oh ok and where would you like to go" asked the camp director "to Mumbai 2006" the camp director grabbed her hand and took her to the machine but in a different area, area 4 "go inside now" said the camp director Anne got inside she saw the man put in the date, "are you ready" "yes" said Anne. She got dizzy and was back in the tunnel "finally going back home," her eyes closed. She landed on the floor, it was Mumbai alright she saw everything that happened in the train bombing. She saw her mom, she saw everyone die, she saw herself in pain and her heart dropped, she wanted to cry, but this strange noise was happening it was Haast's Eagle but it couldn't be they were extinct and they were dangerous they eat humans Andrewsarchus that was 12-foot long and also eat humans. They were coming close, she had to fight Anne to get the sharp piece on the train but she couldn't only beat them with that. As they got closer more Anne got flashbacks at the corner of her eye, she saw the dog that helped her, she ran to him and he pulled her arm and they started to run, the animals were getting closer the dog took, Anne to her small apartment she found a sword, it looked like it had some magical powers she grabbed it and ran as she ran, she saw how tall they were she couldn't fight alone. All of a sudden the dog turned into a gigantopithecus and she knew together they would beat them to the ground. The sword grew tall for the gigantopithecus and Anne got a thick bow and arrow that would kill them if she shot in the right place. The gigantopithecus and Anne fought, Anne shot the Haast's Eagle right in the heart he was down and the gigantopithecus got the Andrewsarchus down, they won, the gigantopithecus got Anne off his back and turned into a dog again. All of a sudden she was dizzy in a blink of an eye. Everything was normal, it looked like the day when she left, it was the same time when the dog broke in, but she didn't save the world yet.
As she was getting ready to go to the camp the next morning she heard a knock on the door. It couldn't be the doctor because it was too early, as she went to open the door someone grabbed her she tried to scream for help but she was blacked out, the next time she woke up was when she was tied up she screamed for help. The camp director walked in "you silly girl, you could never save the world." Anne gasped "you all along" " well indeed, but sadly it's time for you to go " as he pulled out the sword, the boy that helped her got in the way "noo" yelled Anne. But it was too late the poor boy fell to the ground in pieces. He was gone,and it was all her fault, but the man was still alive. He was coming close to Anne slowly, Anne noticed the sword reach out and cut the rope open. Anne was free when she saw a sword right next to her she quickly ran and got it, "what do you think you're going " "getting revenge" replied Anne. The man tried to swing at her but missed, Anne knew where to hit the man as he got closer the riskier it was. Anne's hands got harder and better grip the pow the sword hit him where it killed him right away, Anne stood there in shock as the sirens went off.
She stood and looked at the boy. She wanted to cry but she couldn't because they would kill her. She bent down to the floor and said "thank you for saving me," she got up to put the time in the machine "the night before bombing", she got in and went through the tunnel she led the hour before the bombing Anne was freaking out she ran to her apartment and looked for her mom was save and sound "how was the trip" said Anne's mom " what trip" replied Anne. "You don't have to lie to me," said Anne's mother "come and sit look at the tv" it was the man Anne killed, the news said " man killed that was going to bomb the train", Anne's heart dropped, she fell to the floor and started crying she saved the world " you did it my love" " how did you know" cried Anne. Anne's mother cried " because I always protected you from that monster that's why I wanted to go far away from here, but then the train bombing happened and I knew I couldn't hide you anymore" Anne and her mom started crying. There was a knock at the door Anne's mother freaked out she said "Anne go and hide I will get the door" no I am not leaving you, what if they take you" "I will be fine I couldn't live if they did something to you now go and hide". Anne always knew her mother knew best so she hid. She heard the door open "Anne come down here" yelled her mother Anne was scared but she did what her mother said she went downstairs. Two men were standing there " congratulations on beating out the leader" Anne looked at her mother then at the guys "thank you?", " he hated how you were going to save the world. Did you know all the bombings that happened in Mumbai it was because of him you just saved the bombing in 1993. The year you were born" the guys said, Anne was filled with happiness she was crying happy tears the terror that happened didn't happen she saved the world. The guys said "do you want to be our new leader", Anne was surprised she just wanted to cry but she knew they would ask someone else and they would get revenge against her and if she was the leader they could "yes" Anne said. Anne's mother looked at her and shook her head and started crying " you can't expect" "but mom" said Anne " No Anne, they killed millions of people" cried Anne's mother "you can't do it" Anne's mother said "but I have to mom"
"If you do it you will have to forget all we built until now" Anne wanted to cry, why didn't her mom support her? but Anne knew what she was doing so she packed her stuff and left.
