Alpha Stretched his arms and casted two spells, fireball and water ball , and positioned the fire ball underneath the water one
after it heated up enough, he poured a little bit more Mana into the water causing it to flow, the extra water flowing from it was worm enough to be safely put into the pool without cracking it surface
Alpha was pleased by the result and continued on pouring more Mana into it, eventually the pool filled up, and Alpha slowly dipped himself in it
The feeling of the hot water engulfing his body was so amazing, a lot of stuff happened the past few days, and Alpha was stressed out too much
this one bath of hot water was all he needed to relax, it was so calming and comfortable, and it would be a lot better if he could just close his eyes and take a nap
unfortunately, thanks to his mental resistance skill he cannot sleep, it was a bit vexing but he can't do anything about it, he could just close his eyes and stop thinking, this way he could imitate himself being asleep
at this point the mask really wanted to make fun of him for trying to sleep despite not needing to, but she knew that Alpha have been working really hard lately, he deserved this rest, so she decided to keep silent and observe
Unfortunately, alpha's fake sleep didn't last long, soon after closing his eyes, he reopened them, and started talking to the mask "hey, you said there are six elements, right? and I've mastered four. if I'm not wrong the other two should be light and dark, right? but, how can I use them? do you have any good tip for me?"
The mask was stunned, that same stubborn kid that loves doing everything on his own, is finally asking for help... that's the perfect Chance to tease him

Alpha was deliberately being sarcastic, but the mask actually enjoyed it, and she went along with the play

The mask really enjoyed the show and chuckled "he he, if you're this sincere, I would be left with no other choice... as you wish, I shall teach you the way of light and dark magic, all you need to do is learn one of them then reverse it to master the other, so pay attention, light is basically a bunch of small particles that take the color of whatever object they bump into, once they pump into an object they bounce back from it and spread in all direction, once they reach your eye, they allow you to see the color of said object, when enough of these particles reachs your eye, you'll be able to see a picture..."
The mask was in the middle of her explanation when Alpha suddenly stopped her "wait! you're talking about photons right? yes! photons, of course, how did I not think about them, all I have to do is imagine photons being emitted from my Mana"
Alpha immediately put his hands in front of him and ejected some Mana out, then started his experiment
the mask was speechless, how can this brat always know what to do? She still didn't finish her explanation, she didn't even reach the important part! so how can he already know what he need to do to cast light magic?
She didn't want to believe he can do it, but he've already proven himself more than once, she had to see if he can make it
And he did! the Mana he had in front of him emitted light, that light kept on getting brighter and brighter, until eventually he gained a new skill
