That scene was too pathetic, and the expectations the mask had for the kid, all faded away "could you stop nagging already!! If you can't wait, then increase your INT and you'll be ready to go, didn't you just gain another level?" if the mask could change her facial expression, she would be frowning like crazy right now
"What? Level? Wait hold on, I gotta see that myself, [status]" as soon as alpha looked at his status, he was really surprised "I really did !! Amazing!! Now I can increase my INT even higher" thus alpha's INT went from 55 to 59 , and his Mana pool got filled up a bit more, wich relieved him from the dizziness
Although he was feeling better now, he couldn't remove the doubts he had about the mask, was she a friend or a foe? Can she really be trusted? he had to find out "alright, Now that I'm back to normal, I want to hear an explanation, you told me to use frenzy yet you said nothing about that dizziness, were you trying to kill me or something? Alpha didn't want to believe that the mask was trying to hurt him, but that feeling of helplessness, the idea of being eaten alive by unknown dangers without being able to resist, was a lot scarier than starving to death, and what made it worst, was the feeling of betrayal

Although the mask was angry, she still kept a hint of kindness in her voice, although that hint of kindness was what calmed alpha down, it was still not enough to relieve his fears, ' why do I have to keep an eye on my Mana consumption?
