"I am sure you enjoyed yourself in the woods. What about Loren? Did you see her today?"
"Of course, I did grandfather, she was always there to lead me right through the woods." Duke smiled warmly. He seems to love every conversation that has to do with the woods and Loren, the woods goddess. "We had a great time, and she told me stories, I have never heard before—what do you think about the woods goddess, grandfather?"
Terry smiled and then pulled Duke down to a seat on the field he sat. "I have been waiting for this question, Duke and I see you are not only smart but full of wisdom. Now, tell me something, have you been enjoying your stay here and having a friend called Loren is more fun for you, right? Would you want to stay here instead of going back to where your grandmother will want to hurt you?"
Duke thought for a while, and by the time he wanted to respond, Terry interrupted, "Loren is going to make a good friend and—"
