Sandra nodded, but before she could say anything, Alex started, "Duke is still in a coma but, I am confident everything will be decided pretty soon."
Sandra wonders what he is talking about. She forced a smile, "Is he getting any better at all? I thought he had stayed in that state for too long, don't you think it is time to take him to another hospital? Duke doesn't have to die when he has a chance of survival away from Alpha hospital. He could be taken to another better hospital or fly out of the country—he needs to live—"
Alex looked into the eyes of Sandra in a way that got her nervous.
The moment he looked away, he knew there was more to this visit by Sandra. He noticed Sandra had grown into a beautiful young lady. The more he looked at her, the more he felt something was going on between Duke and her.
