Master Bertram took some time to return to Extinct Village and have a meal with Uncle and Master Basil, only to learn that Berry had left.
He didn't die; he really left, leaving Extinct Village.

Originally, Extinct Village only allowed entry and no exit, but the rule loosened after Master Bertram left the village. After Berry practiced the "Heavenly Destiny Armor Skill" and continually received cultivation resources from Master Bertram, he couldn't bear the lifespan limitations of Extinct Village.
