Owen Bertram left, and Leroy Baker didn't stay in the room for long either. He walked into the backyard of the Spring Tide Building, an unremarkable two-story wooden house. From here, he passed through a tunnel and appeared in a courtyard separated by two streets.
The courtyard was quiet and cozy, not extravagant or luxurious, with everything designed for comfortable living.
"Dad," Leroy Baker entered the room and casually grabbed the purple clay teapot from his father's side and took a sip of tea. His father looked chubby, but his eyes didn't show the cunning of a businessman; instead, they revealed a depth of great wisdom.
Looking at his son, he already knew: "Really?"
Leroy Baker nodded: "Really!"
"It's earlier than expected."
"Sooner or later."
"Alright, let your uncle go talk to the Emperor."
Leroy Baker put down the teapot and looked serious: "Dad, I want to make a big investment!"
