On normal days, Cultivators frequently came and went outside Zombie Cave, known as "Insect Hunters," living off the Capital Insect Fighting Competition. They were generally of low cultivation and often died silently within the cave.
However, the day before, the capital's troops had sealed off the area around the Zombie Cave, prohibiting Insect Hunters from entering. The sky was not fully lit, but a large number of cultivators gathered outside the cave, 30,000 of them divided among the three Sky Pit entrances, entering the cave as soon as the time came.
This part was not like the previous one, as everyone knew there was a high risk.
The cultivators needed to balance between "catching stronger spirit insects", "getting out of Zombie Cave as quickly as possible" to obtain higher rankings, and ensuring their own survival as much as possible.
