An evil scheme was laid by malevolent forces during that year's Dragon and Snake List arena battles held in Sea City, resulting in the unleashing of evil energy; it caused half of the city's cultivators to become possessed and mutated, and virtually wiped out hundreds of young talents participating in the arena battles!
Finally, the Imperial Court deployed a large army to suppress the evil forces, but Sea City became a ghost town, and of the hundreds of Grandmasters present, fewer than 20% made it out alive!
After the tragic loss, the Dragon and Snake List was suspended. But this year someone submitted a proposal to His Majesty, emphasizing the various advantages of resuming the Dragon and Snake List, and thus persuaded His Majesty, which led to the current assessment for the Capital's Dragon and Snake List.
