"I am grateful, Master Enoch."
Owen Bertram left Ford Castle and headed straight for the outskirts of Capital City. Tomorrow was the Dragon-Snake Ranking Exam, and according to the plan, he had to go to Falling Petal Mountain today.
Merton Academy was on Falling Petal Mountain, but that did not mean the entire mountain belonged to the academy. Merton Academy occupied a large area near the front of the mountain and Eden Cave. The three kneeling statues were at the edge of Merton Academy, and even though they were not enclosed within a wall, they were considered part of the academy's belongings because they were also a "relic."
This so-called "relic" didn't hold much value, and no one in the capital was interested in contesting for it. As Merton Academy's influence waned, even its patrolling students grew too lazy to give it a glance.
Only the upper echelons of Merton Academy, like Evans Graham, knew the "function" of these three stone statues.
