Owen Bertram pretended not to hear, and Blair came to his rescue: "That girl seems to be calling you."
Owen feigned ignorance: "No, you must be hearing things."
"Owen Bertram!" Vanessa Thoughts of Shadow waved and called out again.
Blair: "Seriously, there's a beautiful girl calling you. You don't need to worry about me; I can handle this myself."
Owen continued to ignore them and supported Blair, sliding several feet away.
From the Horizon Bureau Token on Owen's waist came Vanessa's slightly annoyed voice: "I can see you, hurry up and come over here. I have important official business for you!"
Owen could no longer pretend and finally let go of Blair.
Blair breathed a sigh of relief, gathered all his strength, and dashed away like the wind.

He turned towards Vanessa, his whole body slumped, already anticipating what he was about to experience.
