The flickering spirit light flowed discontinuously along the roots from Nolan Gordon's head.
"Is it... reading his memories?" Owen Bertram guessed.
Owen had been suspicious when Master Megan encountered the Dandelion.
Why was it Master Megan? Was it because of her connection to him? Was the Dandelion trying to convey some information to him?
However, upon careful reflection, Owen realized that when he had killed those Puppet Demon Beasts, he shouldn't have left any clues pointing towards himself. Moreover, even if the Dandelion had known of his existence, as a Demon Being, how could it further know that he had recently "risen rapidly", becoming a Summit Commanding Officer, with Master Megan as his subordinate?
This was completely unreasonable.
There was only one possibility: the encounter between the Dandelion and Master Megan was a coincidence. It could have been Master Megan or any other cultivator.
