Ferdinand and Owen Bertram had several secret discussions, and eventually, Ferdinand was persuaded by Owen Bertram to fully support him.
The first reward Owen Bertram gave was a copy of his own secret Mechanical Techniques, derived from the "Divine Heavenly Soldier Refining Diagram Records." Many of the ideas about mechanical techniques within it were incredibly advanced.
In the coming days, the Lioyd Sect would send a large number of disciples to join Owen Bertram's command, around two hundred in total. These disciples were skilled in both cultivation and mechanical techniques and could be readily utilized. With their help, Master Owen could finally break free from his manpower constraints.
However, the disciples from Lioyd Sect also had some issues ā their cultivation was mainly focused on mechanical techniques. They were excellent for defense, but not ideal for launching attacks.
