Threadworm finally started to pull back, but after trying several times, it not only failed to pull back, but instead was dragged out dozens of feet further by Magpie!
By this time, the length of Threadworm exposed had already exceeded two hundred feet.
"What a fellow!" Sophia exclaimed, vaguely feeling that something was not right.
Threadworm began to twist, Magpie let out a squeaky cry, its body suddenly stabilized, wings spread outwards, expanding to at least twice its original size!
It turned out that this fellow had been holding back half of its wings just now.
With its wings fully spread, Magpie flapped vigorously, pulling the Threadworm out another ten feet or so. At this point, the Threadworm panicked and furiously contracted its body. As they tugged back and forth, Magpie suddenly lowered its head, bit the Threadworm, and with a powerful flap of its wings, soared into the sky, pulling the entire Threadworm out!
