Little Loach voiced his dissatisfaction with a few sounds.
Owen Bertram threw down about half of the Jade Slips. Little Loach opened his mouth wide and inhaled, all the Jade Slips in Joseph Gourd's space automatically flew into his mouth, then he swallowed them directly.
The whole scene is rather like that of a whale sucking in small fish. It's quite delightful. But Little Loach was thrashing about, indicating to Elder Brother that he was not full yet.
Owen Bertram was a bit surprised, "Already this hungry?"
Little Loach hummed in dissatisfaction, even rolling about: I'm growing up, my appetite has increased. What's wrong with eating a bit more, can't you afford it?
"Alright then." Owen Bertram threw the remaining Jade Slips in. After Little Loach finished eating, he belched contentedly and then sank into the water to digest his meal.
Owen Bertram slapped his forehead: a huge oversight!
