Owen Bertram was puzzled: An elder officiant?
He came out and saw Old Fisher entering the courtyard who greeted him: "Sir, I've arrived!"
Old Fisher looked around the outpost. Matthew was still in the Third Great Boundary, Alvin Morgan seemed not bad, but as a pill master, he wouldn't be good at fighting techniques. This outpost, and Sir's safety, from now on, will be guarded by me, Old Fisher, from the Fourth Great Realm!
Old Fisher was quite pleased with himself. It took a lot of effort for him to be stationed at the Summit Guard Post, or else he wouldn't have delayed until now.
For an elder officiant from the Fourth Great Realm to come to a simple outpost… this was quite difficult to accomplish within the Horizon Bureau. Old Fisher had given many gifts and pulled many strings to rush things through.
But what was more annoying was that the betrayal came from his own people! The other three elder officiants also wanted to come here, constantly undermining Old Fisher.
