Before their eyes, the vast surface of East Immortal Lake was filled with a giant eyeball from the side of the Country of Mourning. This eyeball had intoxicating golden pupils, surrounded by nine runes that formed a spiritual halo. As the halo rotated, it seemed as though time was set in motion with it.
Looking through the "hole" in East Immortal Lake, the eyeball curiously scrutinized the other side, full of wonder at the outside world.
Owen Bertram wasted no time in retrieving the Water Spirit. The Water Spirit was actually eager to test itself, like an animal eagerly waiting to be unleashed. But it became docile and friendly as soon as the rope was untied.
However, all its antics couldn't affect the owner of the giant eyeball, who might destroy it with a mere flick of a finger.
