"Mother, are you trying your hand at baking?" Zell asked his batter covered mother.
"Oh, Zell!" Elenore shouted. "You are back!"
The tiny white fox seemed pleased with Zell's return and leapt to the top of his head instead.
"I think she missed you." Elenore teased.
"Well, I am her champion and holder of her power." Zell said. "We have a special bond."
"Did something happen?" Elenore asked.
"Not too much." Zell replied. "Just a bunch of gods thought they could take me."
"Oh?" Elenore replied.
"Yes, it was nothing I couldn't handle. I took their powers and turned them into mortals, before placing them into the cycle." Zell explained.
"You make it sound so normal." Elenore said. "You realize that isn't normal right? People don't just openly defy and kill the gods…"
"I didn't kill them." Zell said. "Well I mean I did kill them, but I made them mortal first so they will be reincarnated somewhere as normal people without their memories."
