I have seen anger, fear, and joy from a god. Maybe not as strong as the emotions of a human, but still there. When I killed Steve, he felt fear and his mother felt rage towards me. When I fought him a second time, he attacked me out of vengeance.
They have emotions but have no souls. I know there is a difference because the gods I gave souls to were truly different and able to gain free will. So, killing you will do nothing. I can still change your fate, and make you belong.
