He could just imagine the amount of problems that would arise from having a damn prime minister trying to involve himself in the supernatural world. Other than erasing his memories, Jayce wasn't aware of how mages dealt with problems like that.

The main reason why she couldn't stop the student's tyrannical oppression despite knowing where it would go was because everyone else was afraid. It didn't matter what discipline or rules she applied if the staff members wouldn't carry them out.
The only person who wasn't afraid of her was the Headmistress herself, yet she was wary, which is why she hadn't taken any direct action, being careful of retaliation.
