Bella didn't give Nightmare the chance to reject as she shoved the side of her arm into its mouth. From what she had seen, the curse was interested in blood. While it was only a guess, she didn't come to on a whim.
Feeding blood to a curse object was one of the more common measures when controlling them. The only thing that varied was the amount of blood; some would only need a drop while others required gallons.
She had stocks of healing potions in her storage ring yet no healing potion or healing magic could replenish blood. In the best case, the curse would recede its control over Jayce. In the worst case, her blood would strengthen the curse's hold over Jayce.
If that did happen, she would just have to beat it over and over until it gave up and pray that his body was resilient enough to take the punishment.
