"Fatiscit"
In one second, the horrid creature was moving faster than the human eye could keep up, and the next, it crashed into the ground. The ground splintered in a circle around Nightmare as it was driven further into it. It was as if a constant weight was pushing it down, one so strong that Nightmare couldn't move a muscle.
The creature let out a growl as the pieces around its neck unraveled. Bella would have assumed it was a scarf if it wasn't for its poor state.
Unaffected by the spell, the scarf shot out, wrapping around a tree and pulling Nightmare out of the spell's range.
"Fatiscit" Bella recast the spell, aiming to pin the monstrosity down again.
Yet, Nightmare learned its lesson as it darted to the side, narrowly avoiding the circle's influence. With its scarf still extended, they shot out at Bella as Nightmare used that to close the gap.
