"I believe you."
Hearing those words, Jayce was able to let out a sigh of relief. He was worried that she wouldn't believe him and start asking questions that he didn't have the answer to.
"What are you going to do now?" Bella asked.
The Academy was currently on summer break. There were no classes to attend, no homework to finish, and no books to read. Most of the students returned to their families and guilds, but they were more than likely not planning on returning.
Yet, for those who didn't have a place to return to, they were allowed to stay. But if there was one thing Bella had learned about Jayce, it was that he wasn't one to keep in place.
"I still need to go talk to Yuko and let her know I'm alive," Jayce said.
"You still haven't talked to her?"
"I told you that when I woke up, I pretty much came straight here. I was going to go to her dorm right after but I ended up staying longer than planned."
