In a vast, lightless plane, a teenage boy was sleeping soundlessly when suddenly his eyes shot open. He tried to take in air through his mouth, only to be stopped by the dried-up blood coating his mouth and throat.
Turning over to his side, Jayce coughed violently, spitting out any blood that still possessed somewhat of a liquid state and flakes of dark red. He only stopped when he could somewhat take in air without wheezing.
'Looks like everything worked out,' Jayce thought as he flipped over on his back, ignoring his body screaming out in pain.
After helping Yuko and making his way to Ashley, he had already come up with a plan for dealing with the remaining supernaturals. The only thing left was what to do after he dealt with them.
