Black blood was spilled all over the lobby along with numerous amounts of cannonball-sized holes scattered around. Ashley stood in the middle of the room, her hands drenched in the dark liquid and the crazed smile still spread across her face.
A couple of feet away from her was the two-meter supernatural, its scary and unsightly appearance drowned out in its own blood. The two of them stood apart, out of breath and staring at each other.
While Ashley didn't have a single wound on her, the same couldn't be said for the creature. It was more accurate to say that there wasn't a place on its body that wasn't penetrated by Ashley's claws.
Yet, the monster was still standing. With how much of its blood had been spilled, it was strange that it hadn't outright died already. Any normal living being would have fallen over dead at having around forty percent of their blood drained, let alone eighty percent.
