All around the Academy, numerous rifts opened up in different locations, allowing various types of supernatural to enter and begin slaughtering anyone they set their eyes on.
Although they all possessed different anatomies, they all shared two things; their deep, bright crimson eyes and their unshapely grey skin. The town guards who had been placed around the Academy moved to intercept the monsters before they could do any more damage.
However, their cold weapons couldn't leave a scratch on the monsters' disgusting exterior, and their metal armor did nothing but weigh them down as the supernaturals were able to easily tear through them.
Some locations were luckily than others as there were student council members who happened to be nearby. With their magic and combat experience with fighting supernaturals, they should be able to deal with them, or at least buy enough time for the civilians to get to safety.
Yet, reality was cruel.
