"Everyone, please take your seats. The final match will begin shortly," The speaker announced as people began fumbling toward their seats.
Every seat within the Colosseum was taken, causing those who had already entered to make their way to the top of the stands and watch the final round on their feet. While a lot of people grumbled about this, there wasn't really anything they could do about it.
As the announcer kept his charming smile on his face, a voice rang out in his mind.
'All the preparations are in place. Unfortunately, we ran into a slight problem,' A scratchy voice that sounded like two pieces of sandpaper rubbing against one another reverberated in his head.
However, the speaker gave no signs of having heard anything as he stood confidently.
'A problem,' He said inwardly in a dangerous tone that didn't match his facial expression. 'What kind of problem?'
