"Winner, Ryan Winters!"
The speaker was as speechless as the rest of the crowd so it took him a second to realize it wasn't him who announced the winner. Turning his head, he saw the S-rank mage Bella with a big grin sitting on the sidelines.
'Did she personally announce the results,' The speaker thought, afraid that his job was in danger. Yet, seeing that she wasn't paying any attention to him, he let out a sigh of relief.
After hearing the announcement, he turned around and walked across the arena and back into the tunnel he originally came from. Once he was out of sight, his legs collapsed underneath him as a wave of nausea assaulted his senses.
'Don't you dare fucking throw up,' Jayce said inwardly to himself.
He still had Morf's Mask in its active state and if he were to hurl, his mask would be drowned in puke and the smell would be impossible to get out. Sitting on the floor, he took deep breaths to calm his body.
