Jayce ignored the rest of the notifications as he opened his eyes and saw the six swords coming down on him. However, he didn't make any attempts at dodging the blades as he activated his new spell.

Six dark tentacles shot out from his back and smashed into the swords, deflecting them and propelling them away from Jayce.
'This is...weird,' Jayce thought as he stood up and glanced behind him.
The six tentacles that protected him weren't coming from his shadow or any shadow but out of his body. They also appeared different from the normal tendrils he created through manipulation.
