[Blood-Forged Gauntlets]
[Rarity: Rare]
[Forged by a decent craftsman who used the blood of fallen allies to fight against the demons. The craftsman had used Damascus steel to safely infuse blood into the weapons, resulting in their dark color and being exceedingly heavy.]
[+10 to Strength]
[+8 to Vitality]
[+5 to Endurance]
Finding a hidden gem among the weapons was a pretty lucky find for Jayce. Picking them up, the gauntlets were a little heavy but nothing that he couldn't handle. Strapping them onto his arms, he opened his Stat Page.

"Are those what you want?" Jayce had forgotten about Yuko since he was too focused on the gauntlets.
"They are perfect, thank you."
"You're welcome." Yuko was a little embarrassed about receiving Jayce's gratitude but was happy she was able to help him.
"Is there an easier way for me to carry them around?" He didn't want to have the gauntlets equipped at all times. But wanted to have them on his person in case he did need it.
"Well, students usually get a dimensional storage ring with their weapons but you need mana to use those. The next best thing I can give you is a small satchel."
*Sigh* "I guess it can't be helped."
Getting mana seemed more and more apparent to Jayce. Putting the gauntlets in the satchel, Yuko led Jayce to his new class.
Since Jayce chose to be part of the Hunters Branch, he was assigned to a class of that Branch that Yuko happened to be in.
'Like hell, it's a coincidence, he already knew that I talked to her yesterday. That old man is probably using her to keep an eye on me. I doubt he knows that I'm a demon but for now, I should avoid using my Demonic Synchronization.'
Jayce was hoping this wouldn't last long as it would get in the way of his plan of getting mana.
Arriving outside of the classroom, Yuko opened the door, catching the attention of the teacher who was giving a lecture.
"Yuko you're back, I assume the student behind you is the transfer student."
The instructor was an old man with a gentle tone.
He seemed to be somewhere in his late sixties, bald on top with hair on the sides, and wore a blue cloak and glasses.
"Yes, Mr. Norris."
"Thank you, Yuko, you may go to your seat."
Yuko bowed to the instructor and then walked to her seat which was located right in front of the classroom. Turning his attention to Jayce, the instructor smiled at him.
"If you can tell the class a little bit about yourself before I continue my lecture."
Before Jayce could even tell them his name, a familiar voice yelled from the middle of the class.
"Aren't you that fucker that bumped into me yesterday?"
Just hearing that annoying voice Jayce knew who it was. Confirming his guess, he looked to see a student with long blonde hair and two giants at both his sides.
"Are you deaf!? I asked if you are that fucker from yesterday."
"I can hear you clearly, that doesn't mean I will give you an answer," Jayce said with an unbothered expression
"You bastard." Isaac pushed his chair as he stood up and slammed his hands on the desk.
Yuko was about to get out of her desk to defend Jayce before sitting back down. A huge amount of pressure was released from the instructor, silencing the entire class.
"Isaac, I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in my classroom!"
Isaac instantly shut his mouth and took his seat. He decided to deal with Jayce at a later time when he wouldn't have any interruptions.
"Now if you would introduce yourself so I can continue my lecture."
Not to waste any more time, Jayce strolled to the front of the class.
"My name is Jayce Price, I look forward to getting to know you more."
Now that the students were paying more attention to Jayce, they could see that he was an attractive boy.
His face had no blemishes and his eyes were as cold as ice, but this made him more handsome in the eyes of the girls.
Jayce was completely unaware of these thoughts as he went and took an empty desk in the back.
"Earlier I was talking about a field trip, the class will be heading to a Dungeon at the end of this month. How well you do inside the dungeon will reflect on your entire grade. But for now, focus on increasing your combat capabilities."
"Everyone head to their lockers and change, I will see you on the training grounds."
The students stood up and headed toward the locker room. Whispers started among the students about the Dungeon and what happened between Isaac and Jayce.
"Jayce, please stay behind."
Jayce was confused as to why the instructor would want to talk to him but he did what he was asked. Once all the students left the room, the teacher took a seat and he took off his glasses.
"Jayce, I'm going to be completely honest with you. I would prefer it if you picked a different branch than this one.
"Why?" Jayce wasn't going to switch no matter what he was told, but he was curious why the instructor thought he should.
"Not having any mana will make this path you chose incredibly difficult."
"You will have to put in much more effort than the others and even then you'll fall behind everyone else. Are you sure you still want to do this?"
"Yes, Mr. Norris."
"I see you have made your decision, I will stop bothering you about it. For now, head to the martial arts room, it's just down the hall from the training grounds."
"Thank you." Jayce bowed before leaving the classroom and heading to the room.
'I hope the kid knows what he is getting himself into.'
Looking into Jayce's eyes, the instructor knew there was nothing he could say to change Jayce's mind.
The next best thing he could think of was to make him strong enough to survive whatever the world could throw at him.
---
Arriving at the room, Jayce saw a huge gym laid out on the right side. On the left side, it was an open space with mats laid out.
No matter how much he looked around, there was not a single person in sight.
"Seems like I have a new student."
Hearing a voice behind him, Jayce immediately tried to jump away from whoever was behind him. But he was too slow as an arm wrapped around his neck, forcing him into a chokehold.
'Shit'
He was losing air and fast, but no matter what he did he couldn't get out of it. His face started to change into a combination of blue and purple as he began to lose consciousness.
Letting him out of the chokehold, Jayce fell to the floor as he coughed for air.
Turning around, Jayce saw a woman who was around her 20s with a lean body.
She had her long brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a gym bra that barely held her assets, and gym shorts that seemed far too short for her.
Smiling with her pearly white teeth, she stretched her arm out to help Jayce up.
"Welcome to the Martial Arts training grounds, I'll be personally training you until you leave the Academy."
