A few hours later, Ophelia woke up. When she opened her eyes, she felt tired.
'Strange, I didn't do anything strenuous, did I?', she wondered.
She habitually turned to the side to check the time on the table clock but found nothing. Startled, she sat up,and grey. This was not her room and definitely not Chloe's. The charred smell felt stronger.
"This is Nick's room."
She sits up, taking in the view. The room, even though very large was sparsely furnished. It gave a lonely feeling. Opposite the bed was a long shelf of books. Beneath the shelf is a long sofa. The door, adjacent the wall on which rested the bed, could conceal the bed when opened and opposite the door is a wardrobe as long as the length of the room. Besides, the colourful books sitting on the shelf. Every other object in the room was either black or white. Even the duvet was black.
The door swung open. She had expected it to be Nicklaus but it was a stranger and a woman at that. Her sixth sense heightened. Although, there were many people of Fur Mountain that she hadn't met. The lady I front of her was too conspicuous to be missed. Tall, slim, sharp facial features, deep seductive eyes that could draw one in, big curves... The existence of this woman was like a silent declaration of war to Ophelia. The other woman didn't even have to do anything. She just felt threatened.
"You are the Luna girl." It was a declaration not a question. She knew her well.
"And you are?"
The lady gave her a condescending look. Just when Ophelia thought she wouldn't reply, she said:
"Jama, the queen of the Werefoxes. Nick is out?"
"I don't know." Ophelia was erked. Who does she thing she is. Talking to her like she was a subject. Unknownly, Ophelia's silver eyes started glowing. The light was bright and piercing. Jama's deep amber eyes suddenly started glowing green. A silent confrontation.
"She's the Ultimate." Whispered Jama. No wonder Nicklaus suddenly got married. She had offered herself in marriage to Nicklaus a few times for the sake of alliances but he had rejected her, offering instead a partnership alliance. 'Looks like someone got lucky' she thought. Her eyes returned to their amber colour.
"Well, I'll get going then" not waiting for any reply, she stormed out leaving the door ajar.
Perplexed by Jama's change of attitude, she sat there lost in thought.
'did I hear correctly? Ultimate. I'm Nicklaus's final wife. Is that what ultimate means?'
"You're awake" Nicklaus's deep voice resounded beside her hears. She was startled.
"Yes"
"Do you feel well? Do you remember anything?"
"Yea, I remember everything. I'll control myself better next time. I gained something too. I can control my powers better now. For example, if I looked at you with intend, I can see some things."
"You can!" Nicklaus sounded excited but there was a deep crease on his browns. Deep inside, he wanted his Luna, his mate, his queen, his beloved to be at her best yet the reality of her powers terrified even he himself. She was too powerful. The need to find a guide for her troubled him.
"Nick"
"No, call me baby."
Ophelia cleared her throat trying to hide her shyness.
"I want to go out more. I mean outside Fur Mountain"
"I know." He took a deep breath. "Ophelia, I will always support you and your decisions because you and I are one."
Ophelia blushed even more, Nicklaus was been mushy again 'you and I are one' kept repeating in her heart during tingling arc around it.
"A friend of your came by. Jama."
"Yes, I know. She's being attended to."
"You don't have to go personally?"
"No."
"Oh."
"Yea"
Then, the awkward silence which stretch for minutes.
"Little bunny"
"Nick"
"You go first"
"Go ahead"
They paused and shared a smile.
That mesmerising smile flowed through Nicklaus's veins. It was enchanting.
"Can you only smile like this for me" said Nicklaus in a low growl
"Can I?" Replied Ophelia quietly.
Nicklaus went closer to her. Unlike before she didn't pull back. She just sat there squeezing the bed sheets.
Squatting In front of her, he plants a light kiss on her lips and another and another. Then the urge overtook him as he pushes her lightly unto the bed peppering kisses from forehead to her chin, then back to her lips. He sucked on greedily as if she was his oxygen. He let's go for her to catch her breathe. Seeing no signs of resistance, he dived in again. This time deeper.
He turned her over. His back on the bed and her on top of him, his hand supporting her in place.
She held on firmly to his shirts, responding here and there. That same feeling of being exactly where one belonged tossing her to and fro like a boat in the raging sea. Her heart ramming her chest until she could no longer sense them. Sweetness flowed along the many gulps of saliva.
No longer satisfied with just kisses, they begin to touch slowly peeling off the layers on their bodies. The need to feel each other's body overcoming any sense of shame, lust taking over rationality.
Hums and mourns filling their ears. Warmth invading their innards, forcing back the cold blood in their veins. They clung to each other, a drive more powerful than Thier thoughts melding them together with just one desire; to become one.
Nicklaus tired so much to control his list for her but his animal instincts felt others. He wanted so much to entertain his home. Try as he may, lust overtook rationality as he thrush deep inside her.
First works exploded in Ophelia's head. Pain mixed so perfectly with excitement that she could only gasp.
Then their world turned. Cold fire burst forth within Ophelia while hot coals burned inside Nicklaus's heart. He couldn't help but thrush himself deeper and she couldn't help but clingy to him.
Nicklaus could feel the new flow of fire as it ran through Ophelia's veins, a little pulsing in to himself. Then his wolf howls in his mind space as whips of spectral light enter his glabella. It was magical. His strength increasing at the speed of light.
Ophelia felt the fog that had clouded her mind clearing. She could see herself doing things with the power flowing through her. It was wonderful.
They both reach their pick in unplanned unison.
When the ecstasy had worn off a little, the little woman realised that she was laying in the arms of her man who had turned. She was so little in his big frame but she had never felt so secured in her life.
