Lai Jiayi took a deep breath and stood in front of Jia Biyu's grave until Zhao Yang noticed her. The young man paused. He gripped the bouquet in his hand.
"...morning, " Zhao Yang mumbled as he strode to the tomb. The man then squatted next to Lai Jiayi, even before the girl could greet him.
Lai Jiayi flinched. She moved aside so she won't be too close to the squatting man. "M-morning, boss…" the girl replied in a small voice.
Somehow, her muscles tensed even when nothing was going on.
'Damn it. I'm so nervous. This is a crucial day. I can't let anyone disturb me.'
Lai Jiayi inhaled cold air and fell silent. She watched Zhao Yang placing the bouquet in front of the tomb as he closed his eyes.
At this moment, Lai Jiayi knew she had some jobs to do before going home, and she had to do it fast to do her plan. But, she didn't understand why she couldn't move her eyes away from Zhao Yang's figure.
