"good morning sir!" Helena greeted bastian once then as she passed the reception.
There are two reasons why Helena greeted Bastian. The first is because Bastian is his boss, it looks rude if he just passes Bastian, when the lobby is full and crowded.
Helena doesn't want to be the talk of her co-workers because she ignores her boss, even just passing her by. There were enough rumors circulating about her, Helena didn't want to add any more.
Sometimes, Helena felt confused. As far as he could remember, he never bothered, or did anything bad, but for some reason whatever he did was always in the spotlight. Honestly, it's quite annoying.
The second reason why Helena greeted Bastian was, because he had no reason not to say hello.
