Elias walks home from school. On his way, he has a thought in mind.
'I'm turning sixteen tomorrow, but I still have no idea about what that is.'
What he is referring to, is an empty, space-like void, where gravity doesn't exist. Although there is no light source, he is still able to see everything going on, despite that there is nothing.
He finally gets home, and walking in, he notices a note on the counter.
*I'm working overtime today, so make yourself something to eat.
Love, Dad.*
Elias sighs, and makes a quick ham and cheese sandwich, before scarfing it down and heading to his room.
He closes and locks the door, and sits down on his bed.
He turns off all thought, and breathes in.
Slowly, a small, white light appeared in his sight, and he focuses his attention on it.
He sees a flash, and the light disappears. Instantly, he notices that he is in the space, which he named 'The Mindscape.'
Looking around, he sees nothing.
He expected this, but he was still disappointed.
He went exploring for a half an hour, and found out the space was 1 mile in each direction.
He leaves the space, just to confirm something.
He walks outside, and takes a handful of dirt back to his room. He holds it in his palms, and enters the mindscape. He glances around, and notices something amazing. There is still nothing there.
He sighs, and leaves.
He appears back in his room, and tosses the dirt back outside. The reason he didn't spill the dirt, is a reason he knew. When he goes into the mindscape, he freezes whatever position he is in, and will only unfreeze when returning or if moved. If he got moved, he wouldn't leave the mindscape.
He finishes some of his homework, and Cultivates for a bit. The way you cultivate in this world is similar to what you see in books. He circulates energy, called soul energy, throughout his body, slightly increasing the strength of the part it goes through. He checks the clock, notices that it was getting late and decides do go to bed.

He wakes up, to a small blue screen 3 inches away.
"What the fuck?"
[Congratulations! You have reached the age of 16, and unlocked the system! My name is Nora and I am said system. If you want a tutorial, say 'Yes' out loud.]
"Yes?"
[To enter the Mindscape, just think the word 'Enter.' While in the mindscape, time is slowed by 50%, and your cultivating speed is increased by 100%. If holding an object, you can take it into the mindscape. While in the mindscape, the volume of the objects can not increase, but it can decrease. You can change your size. While in the mindscape, you are unable to be hurt, and everything is under your control. Living creatures can be created, and they will praise you as a god. They can cultivate, and use spells, with the same tiers as your world. If you want to check your personal condition, or the condition of the world, say 'My stats' or 'World stats.' If you want to check your spells, say 'Spells.' You can also craft things, or gain things as offerings from the inhabitants, but that's not important.]
Elias grins madly, as the blank space in his mind now had a purpose.
'System, how do I create life?'
[Firstly, my name is Nora. Secondly, you have to have a livable environment, and then spill a drop of your blood. Then, when the blood is on the ground, imbue it with life magic to make humans. Or, do the same with animal blood to add that type of animal to the world. With the humans, they will require plants and animals to live, and will be able to cultivate to the higher god realm. The animals require the same things, but will only be able to cultivate to the level of the animal used to make them. So if the animal is at the advanced tier, they can reach at most advanced tier. Dropping the blood of the same animal, at a higher tier will increase it. {Tip: Living beings other than the host and tamed beasts will not be able to be brought in or out. Only exception is if you take a human in as a disciple, and they reach the ascended tier.} {Tip #2: Bring seeds in. Using the system, you can decrease the size until useable by the humans. Using life energy, you can grow them quickly, so you don't have to wait for years for the trees to grow.} ]
'Oh, so I can do it pretty easily. Nora, how large are the beings inside?'
[They have the same proportions as humans, but will be at most two millimeters tall.]
'So I might step on them, okay. Nora, how fast is time inside when I'm not in it?'
[Starts at half speed, but can be sped up or slowed down by will. This only works while you are not inside, to not complicate the hosts health. If you enter, the time dilation resets to 50%.]
'How fast can I make it go?'
[30 Million years an hour.]
'Alright.'
He looks at the clock, and notices that he has 2 hours till breakfast.
'Notify me when it is 7:00.'
[Sure]
He enters the mindscape, and begins cultivating.
===========
He was about to breakthrough to the intermediary tier, but Nora notified him it was seven.
He leaves the mindscape, asks Nora if he can put things in without him entering himself. Affirmative, but he needs to be in to change the size.
He grabs a couple handfuls of dirt, a bottle of water, and a pack of seeds, throwing them all in.
'Nora, what happens if I plant a full size seed in a small world?'
[It would grow into multiple of that plant, but at the size of the plants there. It would grow in a radius until the entire seed is covered.]
'So I don't need to plant thousands of tree seeds to make a forest. Nice.'
He tosses a couple acorns in, and heads off to school.
(Authors note: His school life has no effect on the story early on, so I won't include it.)
===========
He enters his room, and locks the door.
'Enter.'
His room vanishes, and he enters the mindscape, with a slight difference. A pile of dirt, a water bottle, and some seeds.
'Nora, could you lay out all the dirt flat?'
[Fine]
The dirt starts moving, forming a plate-like plane of dirt.
He leaves the space, runs to his backyard, and digs up a larger amount of dirt, enough to fill a small bucket. To make up for it, he plants some seeds, and covers it up with the dirt surrounding. He takes the dirt back to his room, entering the mindscape. He looks around, and now that he had the base laid out, he expands it a bit, and makes it a bit thicker, so he could plant seeds, and dig holes for water. He looks at the size of his planet, and, remembering the size of the people, decides to make it bigger. He can't keep digging up his yard, so he realizes.
'I should make some money, and buy the stuff I need. But how?'
He goes through every way of making money, some safe, others, not so much.
He finally decides on an option.
He will become an adventurer.
