As I smile at him I start to answer him but Before I can say anything I feel something come over me. I push against him and barely get away from him as the shift starts. A moment later Lacy is laying on the bed in my place.
"Lacy why did we shift? Did you want to meet his Wolf? What is going on? Can we change back?"
"I didn't do this, I'm not sure why or how it happened. I am trying but it's not working."
We look up at Dominic and we see him just staring at us. He gets up from the bed and steps back a few feet.
"Lacy what is he doing? Do we scare him? Is he going to reject us? Why is he backing away? I mean we would never hurt him. I know we are large but I have seen other wolves bigger than us."
"I don't know Ella, you need to speak to him. Maybe he is just shocked by our color like everyone else. Yes but most of those wolves were Alpha's, we are not or the doctor would have said something."
As we watch Dominic back up we are feeling hurt, but then we watch Dominic as he changes. In seconds he is standing before us is the most beautiful midnight black Wolf. I now understand why he backed away, he is huge and with both of us on the bed I'm sure we would have destroyed it. Dominic comes to the side of the bed and licks our face, then he steps back.
"Lacy can you talk to them?"
" I'm sorry I don't know why its not working, we are marked can you reach Dominic?"
"No I can't hear him at all. Maybe we should get off the bed, he might be afraid we will break it."
Lacy stands up as Dominic steps back farther. When her feet hit the floor Dominic steps back to us. As his Wolf nuzzles us we are shocked when he leans in and bites us. It's not until he turns his head so Lacy can do the same thing that I realized he marked us. I tell her to do it to him and after she does we both hear them. Then the pain hits and we fall to the floor. Minutes later it passes and I am laying on the floor. Lacy tells me she needs to rest and she retreats.
I look up as Dominic picks me up off the floor and puts me on the bed. He goes in the bathroom and I hear water running. He comes out a minute later and I feel the wet washcloth pressed against my forehead.
"Why didn't you tell me you were a Lycan I would have been prepared better for this."
"I didn't know, is this something you can learn from a blood test? How did you know?"
"Sweetheart first of all I'm a Lycan to. Most of this pack are Lycan to be honest. Second they should have told you when you were first found. All pack doctors run that test. Also the fact that your a white Wolf should have alerted them to something. You only find white wolves among the Lycans and they are still very rare. Didn't you say the Luna took special interest in you? She would have known a long time ago. Also the fact that you first changed at twelve would have alerted them. I guess that explains why she wanted you mated to someone in her pack. So you know nothing about your true heritage then I would be honored to teach you."
"They never told us anything. The Luna barely taught me anything beyond the basics of werewolf life. Mom kept asking the doctor if I was normal for a werewolf. They told her everything was fine. Is there more I need to know?"
"Calm down sweetheart basically you are stronger than normal wolves. As you can tell your also bigger, this also means if we have children you will only carry then for four months. Your hormones will be crazy as well. Your speed and agility should be off the charts. We should take you to the pack hospital to get some blood work done. The doctor is my mother so we will be the only ones to know what's going on."
I am in complete shock after what Dominic tells me. He hands me one of his shirts and I laugh as it goes past my knees. Once he is dressed we get into his car and head to the clinic. Once inside he calls for his mom. Once she comes out I am in shock because she doesn't look much older than me. Then Dominic introduced us to Each other, "Ellen this is my mate Emma" then he tells his mom we need a room. After she takes us to a room he explains what we need and why. She takes my blood and tells us she will be back in fifteen minutes. While we wait he explains more about being a Lycan. Then fifteen minutes on the dot and his mom walks back in. I am a bit concerned because of the look on her face. She stops in front of us and starts.
"Well my dear we know your a Lycan so that isn't what has me surprised but the rest of the results are interesting."
