Despite all that, Blake gave the exact number of coins to Shara. He again was making a rather large transaction, which made him remember what she had told him about the transfer cards and that he had to get one.
"Thanks for your purchase!" Shara thanked Blake, maybe it was already kind of routine for her since she dealt with clients like that, but she was being quite sincere.
"Thanks to you. I think that was all she needed, so I won't bother you anymore." Blake said those words when saying goodbye, but Shara wouldn't let him go just yet.
"Wait, Blake…" Shara had seen that he was getting ready to leave the flower shop. There was something that she hadn't left her mind these last few days, she didn't want to be annoying, but Blake was one of the few people she could trust for it. "Didn't you see the wooly I told you about?"
Blake only needed to hear that to know what she meant, which made him feel a bit complicated.
"Not yet, Shara. But don't worry, my eyes are wide open and I'll come to tell you if I find out anything related." Blake felt bad for lying to Shara like that, but he couldn't do anything else.
"I see... You don't need to pay much attention to it either, but thanks for your help, haha..." Shara couldn't fool anyone as there was a slightly disappointed expression on her face, which hit Blake like a hammer.
'I know that that wooly was about me… Well… Actually, maybe there is something I could do about it…" Blake was lost in his thoughts for a moment, but Shara's voice came back.
"Sorry if I took some of your time, I guess you're busy too."
"Oh, yeah… See you later, Shara." Blake didn't even see Shara raise her hand in farewell as he hurried out of the shop before teleporting inside Sharance's tree in the blink of an eye.
The idea that he had had before was now very present in his mind, and although there were some dangers involved, he thought that everything would work out for the best.
…
The door to Blake's house was opened not long after, but instead of Blake's figure, now his wooly form was shown in all its splendor and his golden fur reflected the sunlight as its rays were filtering through the clouds indicating that the rain had just ended.
"Okay... I guess I should act like I'm a real wooly. Baa!" Blake had raised his paw to the sky showing his determination. "First of all, stop talking like a person."
Blake was writing down all those points to take into account, he didn't want to be found out because of some mistake he could make since he wasn't even aware of whether there were more people like him. There were some major differences between his human and monster forms, the main one being the height difference between each, which made Blake feel like the world got a little bigger when he was in his wooly form.
'I guess this is how Monica looks at the world, I already have something else to make fun of.' Maybe Blake had somewhat childish thoughts, but for him that was important.
He had gone down the stairs of the Sharance tree until he was in front of it. His bare feet touched the wet ground directly as some mud settled between his toes, which made him feel a little uncomfortable, but it wasn't long before he got used to it with each step he took in the direction of the center of town.
He had taken the time to appreciate the surroundings since he knew it would take a little longer than expected to get there due to his tiny legs, he wasn't in a hurry, but he was also alert to anything around him... Although he had concentrated too much on that and didn't see what was in front of him.
A small sound was heard when Blake had just collided with something, the small milliseconds of confusion were tormenting him, he was even about to speak wondering what had happened, but before doing all that, a deep silence took over him when he realized what was happening.
"Oh… A wooly." That somewhat sleepy voice had reached Blake's ears, and combining it with the silver-haired figure in front of him, he could guess who it belonged to. "What are you doing in town? (It looks so soft! Is it okay if I touch it?)."
The figure in front of Blake was none other than Karina. She had begun her tour of the town to collect the day's shipments. She was lounging around a bit, but her attention was now on the wooly in front of her.
"B-Baa!" Blake let out that nervous bleat, he wanted to meet as few people as possible, but that idea had already been broken.
"Yeah, I know, I'd like to be asleep in a comfortable bed too. (I guess the wooly gets me)." Clearly, Karina didn't know how to decipher the sounds Blake was making, but she was forming her own story herself.
He noticed that she was a bit distracted, so he didn't hesitate to get away from her simply by running as fast as he could. Karina managed to watch the golden woolly wooly speed away, but she had neither the energy nor the reason to chase after him, so she shrugged thinking of her next destination.
Some gasps were coming out of Blake's mouth after the little run, he had made it to the center of town and leaned against the trunk of the bulletin board to recover himself. Nothing exaggerated had happened to him yet, his idea was still standing, and his determination to achieve it had not diminished.
He just needed to get to the door of the flower shop, open it, and be lucky that only Shara is inside it, show her that he was okay, and say goodbye to her. It seemed very simple, but when Blake came back from his thoughts, a shadow had covered his figure.
His eyes looked up to see what had happened, and to his surprise, or rather to his misfortune, the figure of a beautiful pink-eyed woman in her peculiar way of clothing had appeared in front of him this time and a simple thought had popped into his mind.
'Well… I'm dead…'
