It had been a simple move, but the result of it made what had just happened no mystery. The previous green glow that occurred when the array inside the spoon began to work had already completely dissipated at the same time that a deep silence fell into the place.
But, although some people were surprised by Blake's movement and ability, they couldn't even express that with words or shouts as he had started to move once more.
The wool that he had obtained was already inside the sack tied on his waist so he did not have to worry about that aspect, he had turned once more to launch himself in the direction of the huge wooly, and what happened next could be explained simple way... At least it was simple for those who knew Blake's abilities.
"Take this!" Blake said that subconsciously to show that he was truly concentrating on what he was doing, it hadn't taken long for him to be close to the wooly's body again, and before it could turn to face Blake, what happened that caused the audience to come out to their surprise, but only to find themselves caught up in a bigger one.
Blake had attacked again with his spoon while the wind element array was working at full power, his attack had been accompanied by a jump that lifted both him and the wooly into the air, that was a rather characteristic way of attacking that Blake used to use, it was true that it was only a huge spoon that he brought with him, but Blake didn't hesitate to try something, and it seemed that he was right.
He compared that spoon to his own short sword, the dimensions and features were almost identical, so he thought that perhaps it would be possible to utilize his sword art and skills by making use of it.
And now, a new smile appeared on Blake's face as he realized his success and the situation he found himself in.
"Fwoosh!" And when the characteristic sound of the wind being cut was produced, the next thing everyone was aware of was how Blake launched a continuous flurry of cuts in the direction of the wooly that was still in the air without a chance to defend itself.
From those cuts, several green lines of wind had come out that soon made contact with the huge figure of the monster, but as most knew, these did not hurt it in any way, but instead, a large amount of wool that was still attached to its body was being cut and fell to the ground of the square.
That moment didn't last more than a few breaths until Blake had finished with his attacks, it looked like an air show, and he finished it by turning on himself forming a whirlwind that soon hit the wooly once more.
A powerful rumble filled the place at the same time that a small cloud of dust did not let the public see the state of both of them, but as if it were his job at that moment, Blake waved his spoon once more, sending a gust of wind that cleaned everything the place.
"That... Now that's a show!" It didn't take long for Collette's voice to reappear causing the audience to cheer in unison as well. "It seems I have to take my words back, not only has Blake been a last-minute surprise, but it seems like he's become the Main event!"
Perhaps Collette's comments were a bit exaggerated, but that didn't take away from the fact that the public continued to be infected by them.
"I hope the little wooly really hasn't been hurt." As always, Shara showed her concern for anyone when she noticed how the wooly had fallen to the ground, although many had a slightly confused look because of the term "little" that she had used.
"Don't worry about it, Shara. The only ones who can get hurt are the very unlucky participants, but let's forget about that, it seems that while we were distracted something interesting was happening. It is well known that honor is always important among competitors, but if you noticed, the rules of the event are quite simple, and at no point was it mentioned that they could not take advantage of the hard work of others, and that is precisely what we see now." Collette's words made everyone present turn their attention to the square. "It may not be common, but you never know when there are thieves among us!"
Maybe Collette's words were a little confusing to some people, but there was a pretty obvious reason for it, and that was because after Blake cut the wool from the wooly, a lot of it was still on the ground, so the remaining participants without a trace of hope pounced on those pieces of wool as if their lives depended on it.
In short, the event had turned into what could be called complete chaos, the few participants were running with all their might to grab some piece of wool that was on the ground, and the little woolies kept chasing everyone no matter the speed with which they moved, the huge wooly was still on the ground while it was quite noticeable that much of its wool had already been sheared, and all of that combined made for quite a unique sight, but that was just what the public loved.
"And we are in the final stretch, there are only five minutes left before the event reached its end! I would love for this year's instructor to say a few words, but the concentration that she is showing makes it quite clear to me that it shouldn't be interrupted or that huge amount of monsters could become a real problem." Collette didn't waste a single moment to convey her thoughts, it wasn't her first time as a commentator, so she had quite a bit of experience in it.
"Seeing her like that makes me interested in the job as an instructor, I'm sure it would be a lot of fun and I'd love to take care of those cute woolies." Shara seemed to be in her world, but some people in the audience were interested in that type of job too.
"I'm sure you'd do a great job, Shara, but right now our attention must be on what's going on in the center of the place. Many of the contestants took the opportunity to try to get some wool, but this didn't end well for everyone." Collette's words accurately described the state of a few contestants who stumbled or weren't fast enough to escape the herd of woolies who was chasing them, being disqualified in the process. "Little by little, the result is getting closer and closer, we know that there are favorites among them, it is not necessary to mention it, but I am sure that there is a question that does not leave everyone's mind and soon we will know the answer to it… Who will be the winner?"
